as I promissed with one of my brother who posted a thread about solar power.
My son did some work on this project when he came back from Pakistan in 2007. I would like to bring in every one's knowledge how we can kick the black out from our life and also for those who don't have excess to the internet. I uploade one picture's url but still having diffeculty to up load the image.
Ok brothers at my first picture in the post you see that he is soldering the solar cellstogether, to make in series. and in this threa you will see solarl panel ,nother picture you see the 60Watt light bulb.
is lighted for 3 hours and 15 mins, including we run 16 nch fan for 15 mins as well. We charge the 6volt deep ycle battery for 3 and hlaf hours.
My son when he built this he was only 17 years old. I helped him to complete this project. Now he wrote a book about it
and soon we publish it in urdu, every one who ever wants to build his own panels with a small amount you can do that to make your first panel and later on you can keep adding as you need. This was his first attempt on this regard he travelled and attendent seminars also. He is very much worried about his home land speacially the energy sector
Yes! My brother.....the cost it depend on the solar cell their 2 type of cell availabale in the Market. poly and mono crystylene cells.. cells showng in the pics are mono commercial. the cost of this type panel will nearly Pak Rs eight thousand rupees if you build your self...and good for 35 years....................and it works in the clouds and as well rain too becuse their is always reflected and defused lights round the clock. and you can store the eletricity.
The power shortfall in the country has surged to 4,500 megawatt, leading to an increased loadshedding up to 14 hours in Punjab and other parts of the country, report said. The power crisis forced the Pakistan Electric Supply Company (PEPCO) to carry out eight to ten hour power cut in urban Punjab and up to 14 hour in rural areas of the province. In Karachi, massive loadshedding prompted people to stage protest demonstrations in few areas against unabated power cut.
