Dr. Bashar Shala is a cardiologist and lecturer on Islamic history and law. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine (University of Aleppo, Syria) in 1990 and has been in the profession for 17 years. Correct your knowledge, The Prophet SAW said in His last sermon, "I am leaving two things among you, Kitab Allahi wa Sunnati" (i) the book of Allah, mean the Holy Quran and (ii) Sunnati mean My practices, My way of life.

And we were told, if we will hold them strongly we will never be misguided. So we all have to return back to the Holy Qurab and the Practices of the Prophet SAW and to adopt them on our lives.

Dear Brothers,
The Prophet PBUH demonstrated how to practice Islam, and both the Holy Quran and the Practices of the Prophet PBUH are must to practice Islam properly.
However, the word Ahlebaiet does not fit here according to the Islamic ideology as Islam is the religious of practice. It consider only and only our deeds and no relationship. Otherwise, Abu Lahb and Abnu Jahl were the uncles of the Prophet PBUH. And what to say about Abu Taleb, who helped the Prophet PBUH a lot, but since he never said Shahadah his all good deeds are not accepted and he was never considered Muslim.

Dear Brother!
Dr. Sahib has presented Ahle-Bait in a very loving and touching way when it comes to the Khilafat of Hazart Ali (R.A). The time of tribulation has been dealt in great detail and precision. When it comes to Tabi'een Imam Zainal Abdeen has been given tribute in a befitting manner. You can listen the lectures on the final period of the the Khilafah of Hazart Usman Ghani (R.A) and of Khilafah of Hazart Ali Karam Allah Wajh (R.A) and decide it by yourse. Please listen the lectures as if you are neither Shia nor Sunni just a slave of Allah (SWT) and Rasoolpbuh, and you will benefit from it.

Moreover this thread has been initiated with the best of my intentions to have an impartial view. I would beg all the brothers/Sisters that we have enough brawls over sectarianism. Enough is enough. If you feel I have hurt you. For Allah (SWT) forgive me. Otherwise do pray for me.

Dear Widaich,

The Holy Quran says, "Wama Ata Komurrasulo Fakhozuhu, Wama Naha Kum An tahu fantahu, WattaquAllaha, InAllaha Shadeedul Eqab". Translation: What Rasool PBUH give you take it, and what He PBUH stops you, stop from it, Be Ware of Allah, Allah's grip is severe.

Then the Holy Quran, repeatedly says, "Ati Ullaha Wa Ati Urrasool", Follow Allah and Rasool PBUH.

No where in the Holy Quran, you will find anything about Ahle Beit or so. Beside other factors for accepting a Hadees ture like sources, quality of sources, etc, one test of any Hadees is, it has to be align with the teaching of the Holy Quran, and if in any case it clashes with Holy Quran, you need to consider that Hadees, Daeef and avoid it.

Here this word Ahle Beit, clashes with the teaching of Holy Quran, as I mentioned earlier and I just remember another event, when Noa was going to pray for His son, Allah SWT strongly order Him not to do so, he (Noa son) is not from us. Any relations have no value in Islam. Even I remember an event, where, the Prophet PBUH said to Hazrat Aisha Radi Allahu Anha, you will also be judged based on your deeds and I will not be able to help you.

Further, Allah said at the occasion of last sermon of the Prophet PBUH, "Alhaoma Almalto Lakum Deenokum", Today I have completed your Deen. Anything comes beyond, it not acceptable. As Allah says, "Ya Ayyohallazina Aamano Udkhulu Fi Silme Kaffa, La Tattakhezu Khutuwatishaetan, Innhau Aduvvumubeen", Allah says to Muslims, to enter completely in Islam, and don't follow Shetan, as Shetan is your ever enemy". Mean anything goes beyond the Holy Quran and Hadees and Sunnate Rasool are the way of Shetan. Just look at sub continent (so called Muslim), we practice everything which is not included in the Holy Quran and the Practices of the Prophet PBUH. Start from the birth of a child, its schooling, youth, marriage, death, every stage is well according to the Hinduizm. Still we call ourselves Muslim.

Therefore, it is very important to narrow down our focus to the Holy Quran and the Practices of the Prophet PBUH, which are the sources of pure Deen. I remember Mahmoud Ghaznawi's fears, and therefore, he was attacking Somnaat to eradicate hinduizm from India and to protect its inhabitants from its dirts.

I will list to Doctor, as I am very open to all, but I test all ideas/concepts on the teaching of the Holy Quran and the Practices of the Prophet PBUH.

PS. Due to inability of typing Arabic, I tried to write some versus of the Holy Quran in English. If there are any mistakes, Allah may forgive me for that.

some ppl are infact chosen mere bhai, even prophets are chosen and graded over one another now i dont think anyone is of the opinion tht this grading is on the basis of their deeds, no prophet was a sinner but yet they have grades now whatever the reason is Allah knows better.... and for Ahleybait aayats like aayat-e-muwaddat, tatheer and mubahila is there infact to show us there importance so i dont think this hadith is contradicting anything....

as far as the story of NOAH is concerned, everyone knows tht y did Allah said tht your son is not your AHL, coz he disobeyed him.... now this does gives us a hint tht even someone of blood relation is disobeying prophet he is not b considered as AHL of tht prophet but not like you mentioned that simply relationship (no matter how obedient) is of no importance in islam.... this concept direclty goes against the aayat-e-muwaddat of Sura-e-Shoora... in which the Huzoor(saww) kith and kin was given so much importance tht muwaddat with them was the only AJR Huzoor ever asked for in his entire life... doesnt tht shows tht relations are important in ISLAM?
