Status of Pakistani Passport Application

Hello and Assalam Alikum forum members,
I am seeking help and guidance in regards to Pakistani passport application status. Is there anyway to check the status of passport renewal application status? I have applied for new passport on May 16th, 2013 at Pakistani Consulate Dubai as there were no blank pages left on my old passport although it is still valid till Feb-2015. I cant travel anywhere because of this. Despite my several visits to Pakistani consulate, it is not sure about the issuance of passport. I will appreciate if someone can help me in this regard or provide contact no. of DG passport.

Hopeless hay per yeh ligia apko jo info chaya woh mil jaeg! per yeh itnay ********** or manhoos log hain inhain is say koe matlab nahin kay kisi ko kitni emergency ho sakte hay! jaibain bharnay say fursat hogi to yeh hamain or apko daikhingay na!

Sir jee answer tu tab milay aap ko jab aap yahan pakistan aa kar kisi agent kay zariay passport renew karwaein....That particular AGENT will be the best person to tell you the EXACT status of ur application. These DGs and Project Directors suck here in Pakistan.. :D.......so Dont worry and chill jab passport ready ho ga tu khud he mil jaey ga...asking for deadline is like swearing to us

I called MOI office in Islamabad and talked to his PA. Explained my grievances and he promised me to get back to you within few days......lets see if its just promise or they really take some actions....I may call him on Sunday again to see what see the progress.
