Or a better question is should anyone celebrate 14th August this year when the country is under illegal military occupation and no law other than only Whisky Muneera Law exists. Celebrating 14th August would mean condoning this illegal military occupation and dictatorship, because we are far from yet having achieved any real freedom and live in this fascist police state where no one is safe from illegal search, seizure and detainment. Women are harassed, tortured and dragged on the street in the middle of the night for simply expressing their political choices

Where the LEA's are nothing but a terror tool of the dictator used against dissenting voices, the courts are nothing but rubber stampers for any illegal activity of this military regime. The judges are lackeys of dictator.

If it were up to me I would have every one fly black flags and wear black arm bands on 14th August

how do we celebrate that day anyway? When I was a kid, we used to buy flags and jhandian out of our pocket money and decorate our house. Most probably we had nothing to do else in the summer vacations.
