What people are not accounting for is the women's vote. If the turnout is huge and is well represented by women then results are going to be interesting. All the shows asking people who will they vote for hardly ever talk to any female voters and even though its unscientific survey by any means this lack of contact with women makes it even more futile in the urban areas.

Just before the election day I am waiting for "QAAID KA KHAT MAAOn BEHNOn KE NAAM", and you will see ladies wearing "RED, GREEN, WHITE" colored dresses and bangles all over karachi, and the winner will be? Leave it, you will not like it anymore.:lol:

I agree with you that it will be red, green and white in Karachi as nothing much will change. And, I see this as politics my friend, its not personal and I don't really have any likes or dislikes except for a wish for people's lives to improve.

But you are thinking regionally and what I referred to was at the national level in response to impromptu polls that all the TV channels are conducting on the streets of cities in Punjab and KPK. Not sure how many aunties will pay any heed to qaid ka khat in peshawar, or lahore or quetta or multan or larkana ;)

When we go one step forward outside Karachi and Hyderabad, people push us two step back. I have to think regionally, no other way.
BTW, do you really think the rest of the parties are really NOT regionals? In my opinion they are either regional or sectarians. There is no national and Islamic party exist in Pakistan.
eg. Dr. Arif Alvi lost intra party elections just because he is from Karachi, he got only four votes but no one in PTI from all over Pakistan bother to elect him as GS of PTI again. Think wisely, I am sure you will.
