out of 272 seats, 98 are nominated seats for women and minorities this makes a total of 174 seats.out of 174, 138 seats makes it 79.3% they need to win 51% of seats to grab enough of the remaining 98 to make a total of 172. so if PTI gets 90 seat from the general contested seats and then gets another 55 from the special seats this makes 145 total seats. I am sure JI wil get 5-7 seats and then the smaller parties from Baluchistan join in with 5 seats this could go up to 155 total.Leaving PTI about 18-20 short.That is why the turn out has to be more than 55% to grab more than total of 90 seats in the first place.It is tough but not imposible.Worth a shot in every sense of the word.

. i dont think your numbers are correct..... PTI does not seem to that stupid ,,,,, if this number is correct then i will also laugh at PTI , can some one clarify this ..?

Mr. Qaiser. get your facts straight PTI is contesting on 248 NA seats not 138.

There are total of 272 seats where direct election will take place and 70 seats are reserved for women and non muslims.. You need to win at least 136 direct seats to form govt in central..

PTI put 258 candidates on NA direct seats, not 138..
