In my view killing of a human being for whom the Prophet was sent as Rehmat-ul-alimeen, is the worst kind of blasphemy.

Dear atensari, the question is, how did they get there before, after all the house was build by prophet abraheem and his son?

The point is that if muslims fail to understand islam properly today then surely they will fail to convince the world about it and the more the world becomes ignorant the returning of idols to kaba is nothing impossible.

The prophet himself did not and could not get rid kaba of idols till his mission became successful. He lived their 53 years if I remember it correctly before he moved to madinah and even then it was near the end of his life when kaba fell under his control with support of people.

If we do not want to lose our holy places to nonmuslims, we better get on with our duty properly. Allah only helps those who help themselves. If we do not help world become a better place for all of us then world will make it a worse place for all of us. This is the way things work we like it or not.

The question is not of letting place idols in kaba but how to prevent this happening again?

The idols were removed by people from kaba because they lost their worshippers. If idol worshippers return the idols will return. It is supply and demand situation if you like.

This is why we need to unite on basis of proper islam and then try and bring rest of world to islam by way of showing them how great islam is as a way of life as compared to their ways of life. I do not think we can do that for as long we keep fighting with each other over what islam really is.
