Pashtun Wedding Dress and Pashtun Wedding Cuisine Recommendations

My Shaadi and Valima have finally been finalized and will take place in the next couple of months. Considering my wife and her family are proud pathans, i want to make the occasion as special as possible by tailoring my wedding dress and the dinner menu to their traditions and customs.

Would love fellow pasthun pakpassers to give their suggestions on the perfect wedding attire i can wear for the occasions which is consistent with a pashtun wedding.

I decided against wearing a suit or a sherwani for the shaadi. I believe most pashtuns wear a regular shalwar kameez, a waist coat, peshwari chapal and a touk as part of their customs.

As for the dishes i am also open to suggestions i.e. they are going to be full fledged high protein dishes like chicken karhai, chicken seekh kebabs, chapli kebabs, fish e.t.c.

Attire seems as per the local traditions and sounds fine.
However, as far as the cuisine goes..... preferably try to stick on one dish only.
Allah asraaf ko pasand nahi fermata.

My very dear brother, first of all Congratulations, all the bests for your coming future as a married couple, may ALLAH bless you , your spouse and entire family with every bounty that can be imagined.
You may go for purely Pashtu groom's dress, or(QUETTA) Baloch groom's dress they are almost same cultures.
But remember you are one of the fortunate people who are given a chance by Allah to start following the sunnat of a simple marriage, you may impress many to follow, you may take the fear out of many who cannot afford but take loans to compete and do more in weddings, MAKE IT...nikah in masjid, closest family members for barat a very small number(this helps the brides family) avoid as much as possible the DOWRY, this will make yo a real MAJAZI KHUDA in your brides eyes. Valima to fulfill the sunnat, Enough but simple one dish, set up a place on side and feed some poor as SADEQA.

Try to be the trend setter for Allah's sake.
COVID-19 is sent to teach us so much if we pay attention.
