Would we be ok if the word Allah was changed to Bhagwan in our constitution? A hindu would argue bhagwan also literally means god so why are you getting upset?

Day and night difference. Hinduism is not a Abrahamic religion. Secondly, Hinduism doesn't believe in a singular God. Allah and God are literally the same. The Americans are racist people. That is the short and simple explanation for this insane kneejerk reaction. They get offended when a student exchanges God with Allah.

Nope...Allah means "One God" in Arabic...even Arabic Christians call God as Allah...Bhagwan does not just mean one God...it means Lord, guru, particular address..etc...

You give to much credence to American intellect in these matters, go ask an avg American if he knows any of this. To most westerners Allah is the ___________ god of those fanatical terrorists from the middle east.
