oil/gas and commodities prices went up exponentially in past years putting lots of pressure on import bills... whereas despite lots of improvement in exports and remitences by PTI, current account deficit is widening hence putting pressure on ruppee.

PDM used to say that oil prices should be lower than what PTI govt was charging... mehngai march of noon ppp if you remember???

now what was wrong then is wrong now as well.. you cant blame PTI for that and forgetting noon ppp PDM altegether.

the bigger issue that no one talks about.. the F..king NFC award, the gift of PPP (3 major events to destroy Pakistan economy, 1st Bhuttos nationalisation, 2nd freezing foreign currency accounts by nawaz sharif). Now whatever Govt collects in taxes will go directly to provinces, but provinces are not liable for national debt...why???

now federal govt has to pay back loans, but how can they pay them back if all money goes to provinces??? so they take more loans and so on... hence destroying the ruppee

credit goes a lot more to PPP, followed by PMLN (even if you ignore their policy of freezing $ price for a prolonged time and collapsing Pakistani exports)
