On October 26, when Gujaratis ushered in the New Year and Govardhan Puja was celebrated in the North, the Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader demanded of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the images of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha should be printed on currency notes with that of Mahatma Gandhi.
