You are correct they should start pilot project. I remeber EC requested previous government to start a pilot project but it was rejected saying that the entire election will be on EVM. They should start it now but I don't think current government is interested in it.

No one is interested in EVM. How else would they do rigging?
Rigging can be done more through EVM than papers. Our powerful agencies can hack machines or pre-programe it and change the vote count. Don't support EVM for 2023 elections as it can go in favour of PMLN.
EVM machines also print receipt of votes on paper at the same time. So any hacking can be easily traced and fixed before the voting

Then what is the benifit of EVM machines, you do voting and then double check everything again on paper. EVM machine will automatically count and you count receipts of machine again as one vote. Time will be longer than paper only because it is machin plus previous paper process. Identification of an individual will again be manually before letting someone to push the machine button. What is the advantage of this machine then, can you explain?

Double counting (first on machine automatically and later on paper receipts manually) will rule out any election rigging.
What you are achieving this way? You are using machine as counter only and not saving time after recounting it manually. Banks use counters to counts notes/bills and do not count manually after that. What is benifit of completly automatic EVM therefore just put a counter and put casted votes in it and manually count it again. Identification of persons also done manually then how you will stop dhandali. A fake person can come in and cast vote by pressing vote button or election commision person can press button as well. How you will stop dhandali through this method.
Double counting will expose election fraud. Unless machine counting and manual counting matches, the result will not be accepted as genuine
You just stop all future elections because Pakistanis cannot be trusted to vote honestly
