The descriptions in the videos remain inconclusive, since they have not deliberated upon the benefits of Alcohol and Gambling.
This will draw a line between the permitted and prohibited use of them.
If we take it wine as a whole, instead of "alcohol" alone, then remember, about 3 to 30% of wine is vinegar and only 5 to 15% is alcohol. Treat the wine above 77 C and what you are left with is vinegar with yeast (a source of vitamin B) and some other compounds like Tanins and Flavonols, which are good for heart.
Then, if you know, many mother tinctures of medicines/herbs etc were extracted through alcohol. It also worked as a disinfectant for wounds.
Based on the logic provided in the videos, certain more mind altering substances like Opioids (Fentanyl, heroine, ICE etc.) seems to be allowed in Islam since their name is not mentioned in the Quran. Isn't?

بریانی خور، مجھے بھی معلوم ہے کے قانون نہیں بن رہا۔ لیکن بات اس سمت بڑھ تو رہی ہے۔ مجھے تو تھریڈ بنانے والا اور اس کی سٹپنی بہت سنجیدہ لگ رہے ہیں
اب دیکھو نا نیو ائیر نائیٹ مناتے ہی تھے۔ ویلنٹائن اور ہیلوئین منانا شروع کر دی ہے۔ ہولی بھی منائی جاتی ہے۔ باقی رہ گئی ہم جنس پرستی رفتہ رفتہ وہ بھی حرام نہیں رہے گی۔

The logic provided in the videos is based on the Quranic verses.
Opioids are dangerous substances, although some doctors do prescribe them for pain relief under their supervision, among other things.
How did you come up with the idea that the Quran allows Opioids or anything similar?

Since opium existed in the times of Pharaohs, therefore I think the Arab world was not oblivious about the drug at the time of advent of Islam. Al-Razi was the first Muslim surgeon to use opium as anesthesia for his surgeries, its uses in folk medicine & recreation outdates Islam.
So, if it is not mentioned in Quran to be haraam, it is halaal (by the logic put forth in Al-Musa's video).
In modern medicine, compounds like Morphine, Codine or even Loperamide (Immodium/Lomotil) are derived from opium and hence are opioids. Fentanyl (a synthetic opioid) was invented as an analgesic for intense pains.
So what makes you think that opioids are not halaal? any Quranic reference?
