Importance of Science in the Understanding of Quran

I just watched the first 15 minutes but I get he jist of it. Its absolutely true, its the science in the Quran that once I started to read it with understanding that really affirmed my faith in it. Before that being born in a Muslim household and doing regular namaz, roza since early childhood was being done mostly because it was what I was taught and was "tradition" in the household.

But when I started to read it with meaning and understanding and was amazed to see so much science in there and how Allah kept telling us how he's made all of it as signs for us and ponder about his creation.

Then when I took up astronomy and started to gaze at the planets with my own eyes, that was another mind blowing experience and I suggest everyone to give it a try. When you see Jupiter 600 millions kms away with its bands and its many moons and then Saturn with its brilliant rings 1.4 billion kms away. You can't help but wonder the vast distance between us and them and yet they exist, doing their thing and playing their part. And all the other stars and galaxies you start to feel so small and insignificant and vastness of Allah's creation and just how teensy weensy we are in that minute blue planet in the milky way. Thinking this is everything. In reality when it comes to his creation we are worse that, khuway ka maindak, the frog who lives in a well and thinks the entire universe is the well he lives in

Contemplating the magnificent creations of Allah fills me with awe and reverence. It is a powerful reminder of His infinite power and wisdom and strengthens my faith in the Almighty.
Regrettably, our Mullahs have made the pristine message of Allah into empty rituals, and the majority of Muslims are following them blindly without using their God-given intellect & wisdom.

Jawab gandum.

Mazmoon science aur Quran hai,, yeh janab apni namaz roza beech mein zabardasti gussah rahe hain.

Namaz rozay sa aaj tak kissa ka aaj tak koi faida huwa hai?

Pakistan mein lakhon croreon namazi aur rozedaar hain, tu phir yeh haal aur zalalat kyun? Same with so many African countries like Sudan, Mali, Comoros etc etc .

Hence I've always loved the world around and above me and nature also, just going deep into the desert, away from everybody the hustle and bustle of human civilization, sitting atop of a tall dune, just looking into the sea of sand all around me, no sound other then that of the wind, just admiring his creation.

One thing I miss dearly is the dark skies very hard to find here, even deep in the desert the bright glow from the cities or near by settlement still pollutes the sky.

I've heard if you travel by ship far from the coast and middle of the ocean, the sky really lights up and that is the sky our ancestors really saw.

I agree. Worship needs to be combined with pondering over the signs of Allah, and implementing your learning in practical life. Otherwise, one cannot go beyond a certain degree.

Our Majoosi Narrators have reduced this Deen to meaningless rites and procedures.
They have enslaved Muslims' brains, preventing them from thinking about and reflecting on Allah's creations in the Heavens and on Earth.
Just looking at the human anatomy is enough to see the magnificent universe He has created.
