On February, the independent or PTI members collectively joined Sunni ittehad council.
The Election Commission of Pakistan accepted and notified it in April.
The Sunni Ittehad Council approached the Supreme Court for relief.
There are almost 40 members who submitted the party affiliation certificate of PTI. Chalo unko tu SC ke faisle se hone wali confusion ke waja se relief de diya gaya, they are now considered PTI members. But those who didn't submitted party affiliation certificate, and are Sunni ittehad council members are given 15 days to do floor crossing.
Reason?
SIC can't be allocated reserved seats because SIC didn't took part in the elections.
SIC party constitution doesn't allow non Muslim to be a member of SIC, therefore the non Muslim reserved seats can't be allocated to SIC.
Jis ka judges ne PTI ko relief dene ke liye ye hal nikala ke they kicked out SIC, and declared them PTI members.
The remaining 40 Sunni ittehad council member who have not submitted party affiliation certificates, contested as independents and joined SIC are SIC members. These SIC members are now asked to do floor crossing on the parliament with SC's blessing.
