Girl marries dog to ward off 'curse'

A young girl in India's eastern Jharkhand has married a stray dog with the belief that it will ward off an evil spirit. The dog's paw was dipped into a substance and then placed on the girl's forehead during one part of the ritual. Villagers at Munda Dhanda performed the ceremony to avert any curse that may come upon the girl's family, Reuters reported.

She will later be free to marry a man without getting a divorce from the dog.Neither dog nor girl look thrilled in a video of the ceremony. Marrying animals is part of a supersitious belief system that is widespread in India, particularly in rural areas.

Don't talk about construction as Pakistan could not construct a single Dam in last 63 years. We Indians always bring smarter Ideas and try to help our neighbor but you don't ever listen..

Its different with humans. He has designed our algorithm in a very different way. While He knows how to keep our ropes tied, almost half of the decisions we take are made on our own will. That's why .... there is heaven and hell for humans (Remember our day before yesterday's talk). It would have been really unfair otherwise.
