پشاور: خیبرپختونخوا پولیس کے افسران اور اہلکاروں کے لیے ضابطہ اخلاق جاری کردیا گیا ہے جس میں انہیں سیاسی معاملات سے دور رہنے کی ہدایات دی گئی ہیں۔ ڈی آئی جی آپریشنز خیبرپختونخوا کی جانب سے پولیس افسران کو لکھے گئے خط میں کہا گیا ہے کہ تمام پولیس اہلکاروں بشمول گنرز کو سیاسی اجتماعات میں شرکت سے منع کیا جائے اور کسی بھی اہلکار کو صوبے سے باہر کسی بھی حیثیت میں کوئی سیاسی کردار ادا کرنے کی اجازت نہ ہو گی۔
خط کے متن میں یہ بھی تحریر کیا گیا ہے کہ پولیس کا بنیادی فرض ہے کہ وہ غیر سیاسی رہے اور قانون کی حکمرانی کو قائم رکھے۔ اس کے ساتھ ہی کہا گیا کہ پولیس افسران اور اہلکار آئین اور قانون کے مطابق اپنے فرائض سرانجام دینے کے پابند ہیں، اور انہیں زبردستی یا غیر ضروری اثر و رسوخ کے خلاف مزاحمت کرنی چاہیے۔
ڈی آئی جی آپریشنز نے اپنے خط میں مزید کہا کہ سرکاری وسائل یا اختیارات کا استعمال سیاسی جماعتوں کی حمایت کے لیے نہیں کیا جانا چاہیے، کیونکہ اس طرح کے اقدامات ادارے کے اخلاقی معیار کو مجروح کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے تمام پولیس ملازمین سے درخواست کی کہ وہ پیشہ ورانہ طریقے سے اپنے فرائض سرانجام دیں اور کسی بھی غیر قانونی یا غیر اخلاقی عمل سے اجتناب کریں۔
خط میں واضح طور پر یہ کہا گیا کہ ان ہدایات پر عمل درآمد ضروری ہے، اور اگر کوئی افسر یا اہلکار احکامات کی خلاف ورزی کرتا ہوا پایا گیا تو اس کے خلاف سخت کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
