Generals are likely trying to escalate tensions with Afghanistan in order to show that as usual they can serve the interests of the West better than any politician. They have adopted policies in the past that safeguarded and served the interests of the West better than ours. In fact, it cost us dearly in terms life and economy.

It is estimated that the WOT costed us 10s of Billions and 80,000 - 90,000 lives. In the meantime, traitor Generals became Billionaires.
