وفاقی حکومت کے قرضے ملکی تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گئے ہیں، جس پر معاشی ماہرین اور عوامی حلقوں میں تشویش پائی جا رہی ہے۔ اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کی رپورٹ کے مطابق، نومبر 2024 تک مرکزی حکومت کے قرضے 70 ہزار 366 ارب روپے تک پہنچ گئے ہیں، جو ملکی تاریخ میں سب سے زیادہ ہے۔

اسٹیٹ بینک کی جاری کردہ دستاویزات کے مطابق، رواں مالی سال کے پہلے پانچ ماہ یعنی جولائی سے نومبر 2024 کے دوران وفاقی حکومت کے قرضوں میں ایک ہزار 452 ارب روپے کا اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ صرف نومبر کے مہینے میں مرکزی حکومت کے قرضے ایک ہزار 252 ارب روپے بڑھے ہیں۔

دسمبر 2023 سے نومبر 2024 تک کے ایک سال میں وفاقی حکومت کے قرضوں میں 6 ہزار 975 ارب روپے کا اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے۔ یہ اضافہ ملک کی معیشت کے لیے سنگین خطرات کا باعث بن سکتا ہے، کیونکہ قرضوں کے بوجھ میں اضافہ معاشی ترقی کو متاثر کر سکتا ہے۔

اسٹیٹ بینک کے مطابق، نومبر 2024 تک وفاقی حکومت کے مجموعی قرضے 70 ہزار 366 ارب روپے تک پہنچ گئے ہیں، جن میں سے 48 ہزار 585 ارب روپے مقامی قرضے ہیں، جبکہ 21 ہزار 780 ارب روپے بیرونی قرضوں پر مشتمل ہیں۔

قرضوں میں اس تیزی سے اضافے کے پیچھے کئی عوامل کارفرما ہیں، جن میں بڑھتی ہوئی حکومتی اخراجات، درآمدات میں اضافہ، اور کرنسی کی قدر میں کمی شامل ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ عالمی سطح پر بڑھتی ہوئی سود کی شرح اور مہنگائی بھی قرضوں کی ادائیگی کے لیے مشکلات پیدا کر رہی ہیں۔

معاشی ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ حکومت کو فوری طور پر اقتصادی اصلاحات کی ضرورت ہے تاکہ قرضوں پر انحصار کم کیا جا سکے اور ملک کی معیشت کو مستحکم کیا جا سکے
