A majority of so-called Muslims pose questions to show where in the Quran the "Namaz's" details are found. In actuality, they are challenging Allah and accusing Him of omitting certain information from the Quran.
People who follow anything besides the Book of Allah are committing Shirk.
bro, i guess even now if you are not willing to except the truth than clearly you are doing nothing but a propaganda but at what cost #DayofJudgement

Bro, you guys are following man-made books which were not authorized by Allah or the Messenger.
Fear Allah! On the day of judgement, Allah will not ask about the Ahadith books, but the Quran.
"And the messenger will say, 'My Lord, my people have deserted THIS QURAN.'

Let me ask a question to all the followers of Hadith: Have you read all of the hadith? Are you aware that there are numerous contradictory, outright insulting, and derogatory ahadith about Prophet Mohammad and his companions? How can anyone in their right mind accept such ahadith?
In this day and age, if I were to write a book praising Prophet Mohammad while also including insulting or derogatory content about him, how would you feel about me? Would you accept the book, or would you issue a religious edict (Fatwa) to have me killed for insulting the Prophet?

The Quranist Playbook Exposed: How Quran-Only Claims Mislead Muslims

Qur’an-only Islam? Or just another trap in digital disguise?

A growing number of social media accounts, forum handles, and YouTube channels are posing as enlightened “truth-seekers” calling Muslims to “return to the Qur’an”. They come with dramatic slogans, stylized videos, clever hashtags, and even spiritual-looking branding.

But behind these usernames and slogans is
a network of anonymous individuals with no recognized scholarship, no ijazah, no isnād, no Arabic training — and no accountability.

They present themselves as:
  • Experts without credentials
  • Thinkers without background
  • Reformers without responsibility
And when challenged, they don’t respond with evidence. They say:

This is not scholarship. This is intellectual gaslighting dressed as Islamic reform.

They aren’t bringing you closer to the Qur’an.

They’re stripping Islam of its practice, history, and Prophetic explanation — in the name of “purity.”

It’s time to expose their tactics — clearly, calmly, and comprehensively.

The Quranist Playbook: Same slogans, recycled tricks

“We don’t follow hadith. We follow only Allah.”
“Come back to the Qur’an!”
“Hadith was written 200 years later!”

These are familiar slogans repeated again and again by self-proclaimed "Qur’an-only Muslims" who present themselves as champions of pure monotheism. But behind the emotional rhetoric lies a deliberate dismantling of core Islamic practice — and in some cases, an outright rejection of the foundations of Islam itself.

It’s time to expose the playbook, point-by-point.

  • Misusing the Word "Hadith"

What they do:

They quote verses like:
  • 45:6 “In which hadith after Allah and His verses will they believe?”
  • 77:50 "So in which hadith after it will they believe?"

What they ignore:

  • The word ḥadith in Arabic means narration/speech, not necessarily the "Hadith literature."
  • Qur’an itself calls its own message a hadith in 52:34 and 39:23:

“Allah has sent down the best Hadith: a consistent book...” (39:23)

Reality:

These verses condemn rejecting divine revelation, not all historical reports. They use a linguistic trick to mislead.

  • Claiming Islam Is "Fully Explained" in Qur’an

“The Qur’an is detailed and complete! 6:114, 16:89, 12:111”

But...
  • The Qur’an never says: "Only follow the Qur'an."
  • In fact, it says:

“And We revealed the Reminder to you [O Prophet], so that you may explain to people what has been revealed to them.” (16:44)

  • And commands us repeatedly:

“Obey Allah and the Messenger.” (4:59, 8:20, 24:54, 64:12)
“Take what the Messenger gives you and abstain from what he forbids.” (59:7)

If the Qur'an is enough without the Prophet, why are we told to obey him?

  • Attacking the Hadith Compilation Timeline

Refutation:

  • The Qur'an itself was compiled and written in stages — primarily memorized.
  • Hadith was memorized and written during the Prophet's time. Eg. Sahifah of Hammam ibn Munabbih.
  • The compilation process was done carefully, with chains of narrators (isnad), critical science (al-jarh wa’l-ta’dil), and hadith categorization. No other religion has preserved teachings with this level of rigor.

  • Mocking Sacred Symbols

This is open mockery of the Kaaba, the Qiblah ordained in the Qur’an:

“Turn your face towards al-Masjid al-Haram…” (2:144)

We, Muslims, don’t worship the Kaaba. We face it in unity as Allah commanded. Calling this "shirk" is accusing the Prophet and entire Ummah of idol-worship.

  • Discrediting All Scholars as “Abu Fulan”

Yet these same people quote fringe bloggers and YouTubers with zero Islamic training.

The hypocrisy is staggering.

Classical scholars preserved:

  • Tafsir
  • Grammar
  • Context
  • Language
  • Fiqh

We, Muslims, don’t blindly follow — we benefit from their effort. Their work is not infallible, but it’s foundational.

  • Presenting Themselves as Rational, Enlightened

Yet when shown verses they:

  • Deny Qiblah
  • Deny Sunnah
  • Deny Prophetic explanations

This isn’t intellect. It’s intellectual arrogance masquerading as enlightenment.

  • Cherry-pick verses — but deny context and tafsir

They’ll quote:

And claim this condemns all Hadith — ignoring that the Qur’an itself is called a Hadith in 52:34 and 39:23.

They claim:

…means we don’t need Sunnah, forgetting that
this verse was revealed after the Prophet had already taught and practiced the religion in full public view.

  • Quranists' End Goal: Ritual-less, Prophet-less Islam

Let’s be blunt. The final destination of this movement is:

  • No Salat
  • No Zakat
  • No Hajj rituals
  • No Qiblah
  • No Sunnah

Just a vague belief in God and "good values." Is that Islam?

Ironically, it is Quranists who do this, by rejecting how the Qur’an was explained and practiced by the Messenger.

Why must we, Muslims, respond

Because the youth are reading. And they deserve better than mockery, confusion, and conspiracy dressed up as reform.

This isn’t about “winning arguments.” It’s about preserving the deen — as Allah instructed us:

“Obey Allah and obey the Messenger.” (4:59)
“Let those beware who go against his command…” (24:63)

You cannot defeat this ideology with memes or mockery. You need knowledge, sources, and clarity.

Let this thread be a wake-up call. Don’t fall for empty slogans. Islam is not a DIY religion built on Google searches. It is a preserved legacy:

Qur’an ➞ Sunnah ➞ Scholarship ➞ Ummah

And that legacy will never be destroyed by hashtags, YouTubers, or anonymous usernames.
Credentials credentials credentials. Ok if you are crying about credentials so much ( which by the way is an extremely foolish and childish argument in the first place, specially in this day and age )

Let me bring you someone from your side, dripping in credentials,. Here is a edited ( for space ) introduction from his own page.

Carried out preliminary Arabic and Islamic Studies as a teenager in the UK before going to Damascus, Syria in the late 90's It was in Damascus where.. he privately studied his basic Maliki Fiqh and Maliki Usul, in addition to studying at Ma'had al-Amaniya at Damascus University where he covered the essential elementary sciences of Islam.

Mufti Abu Layth then travelled to Pakistan to memorise the Qur'an along with Tafsir at the Jami`ah Muhammadiyyah Institute in Islamabad, Pakistan (under the supervision of Shaykh Amin-ulHasanat, the son of the Legendary Pir Karam Shah al-Azhari).

He then returned to Syria to recite the entire Qur'an to Shaykh `Abdu'l-Haadi at-Tabbaa' who was a key student of Shaykh Bakri al-Tarabeeshi (who held one of the most highest chains-asaneed in Quran worldwide). Shaykh Abdu'l-Haadi after listening to the entire Quran authorised to teach with an ijazah and chain of transmission (isnad) going back to the Messenger of Allah (SAW).

After gaining his ijazah, the Mufti returned to Pakistan, Karachi and completed the (Dars-e-Nizami) Alim Course at the renowned Jami`ah Binnoria, where studied the various Islamic Sciences ranging from Tafsir, Hadith, Usul, Comparative Fiqh, Arabic Literature, Arabic Grammar, history and Aqidah, from an elementary to advanced level.

In his final year (Dawrah Hadith) as is the custom he studied and completed cover to cover the major books of Hadith with understanding (Muwatta, Bukhari, Muslim, Tarmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasai, Ibn Majah & Sharh Ma'ani aathar) and was authorised to teach them with an unbroken chain to their authors. He attained 3rd position in this class amongst approximately 90 students.

Then completed the Mufti Course (a 2 yr training course in the practice of issuing Fatwa) at the same institute specialising further in Fiqh across the various madhhabs. His training was under the supervision of various renowned scholars including Mufti Abdullah Shoukat (who is a key student of Mufti Taqi Usmani) for Hanafi Fiqh, and Mufti Salim Al-Tunisi (A Maliki Mufti resident in Jamia Binnoria).

So is this person qualified enough for you? He is an aalim, hafiz, mufti and hadith expert and that too from the most traditional institutes and schools.

Now if you have the courage, a man of your word, listen completely to this 2 part series by this traditional muslim aalim, hafiz, mufti and hadith expert, I have brought you one of your own and an expert at that and now try to refute this.

Prediction : Not going to watch more than a few minutes at most, will instantly start attacking the messenger in this case the Mufti, he doesn't dress like this, he talks like that, I've never heard of him etc etc , will do all sort of emotional song and dance, will make all sorts of excuses rather than addressing the points raised by the learned mufti from his own side.

Where are the rituals in the Quran?
Does Salat mean Namaz?
Did Allah forget to mention 2.5% Zakat in the Quran?
Are the current Hajj rituals in the Quran?
Does Qibla means the Kaaba?

The word Sunnah in the Quran means "the Sunnah of the Prophet."?
The followers of the man-made books are misguiding & misleading the innocent Muslims.

(6:116 ٱلأنعام‎)

In pursuance of the above, Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab (رضي اللَّه عنه) has advised:
قال عمر بن الخطاب [-رضي اللَّه عنه-] : إياكم واصحاب الرأي فإنهم أعداء السنن أعيتهم الأحاديث أن يحفظوها وتفلتت منهم ان يعوها واستحيوا حين يسألوا ان يقولوا لا نعلم فعارضوا السنن برأيهم فاياكم واياهم
(in some narrations, his warning ends with فَضَلُّوا وأَضَلُّوا)

Thank you Brother Ali.

I'm sorry, I do not have time. Furthermore, I believe such virtual debates on matters of Din can potentially lead to confusion, misunderstandings and counter-attacks in other spheres of society, esp. when (a) true identities and motivations of the parties involved is not confirmed, and (b) remember, any virtual argument in today's age is never a one-to-one communication but a one-to-many(infinity) communication (who are these "many" will be unknown, unless the State has created a system to know this). Under these circumstances, we should especially heed to the above warning in the Noble Quran and to the related advice by Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab (رضي اللَّه عنه), and not take such baits - but rather strive to build a system where such attempts to corrupt the Din and the socio-religious fabric and harmony are effectively mitigated in advance. The Noble Quran and Din-e-Islam is not a subject of human philosophical debates and sophistries (e.g. read Imam Al-Ghazali's (may Allah SWT be pleased with him) The Incoherence of the Philosophers, and among other eminent scholars, he has also laid out fundamental principles defining when and how to integrate Hadith in the Islamic Faith and Law).

Unfortunately, what we see here is what Emperor Akbar used to do in his Ibadat-Khana. Above all, the increased efforts to discredit Hadith and Sunnah (and naooz billah 'cancel' Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) during the past ~30 years are not out of the blue but (1) a continuation of those efforts of the pagans, Satanists and Sabians since the 8th/9th C. CE to infiltrate gnosticism, doceticism and esotericism into Islam under various guises, and (b) pave the way to fulfil their Messianic prophecy(ies).

Instead of scratching the surface, TPTB should rather understand the root causes of animosity of today's Christians (read: Christian Zionists) and Jews (read: Zionists) especially towards Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) (and Islam)? What is their beef with our Prophet and with us? For lack of time, as a starting point, I would leave with this. As many would already know, the Zionists + Jews reject Prophet Isa (a.s.) because he did not fulfil their Messianic prophecy. The Zionists, Jews and Christians reject Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because, in short, Allah SWT exposed their fabrications, inventions & falsehoods through the Noble Quran (through Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) outside the Jewish lineage), (re)established the Oneness of God, rejected Trinity, and established a new revelation (The Noble Quran) and Din (Islam) that replaced their books (Torah, Injil). Now as a result, while Muslims do NOT strive actively to engineer return of the Messiah Isa (a.s.), both Christians and Jews have their own motivations (that otherwise converge and get them to collaborate & strive actively) to fulfil their respective Messianic prophecies; for the Christians believe that the Jewish Messiah will usher in Prophet Isa's (a.s.) second coming, while Jews await their own Jewish Messiah to establish universal peace upon Earth under their supreme rule from Yerushalayim. Importantly, for the Third Temple to be raised and the Zionist State (aka universal Jewish state) to become the supreme power of the world, it is imperative from their perspectives to naooz billah discredit Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and then reinterpret various parts of the Noble Quran (e.g. redefine meanings of Masjid Al-Aqsa, Masjid Al-Haram, Isra' wal Mi'raj, Salat (remember Salat was practiced daily before Isra' wal Mi'raj but the five-time daily Salat became obligatory only after Isra' wal Mi'raj), etc.) so as to not just attempt to disconnect Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Prophethood from the Noble Quran, but also disconnect Muslims & Islam from associations with Masjid Al-Aqsa (+ the Muslim Holy places), and so thereby pull the rug from under their core belief system, and effectively coerce them into accepting their role to serve them as Gentiles. (But remember "no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.")

It is the job of TPTB to uncover if there's a joint LAP (Lohamah Psichologit) and R&AW's PsyWar Div (+SIS) Op underway in Pakistan!? I see it happening on a daily basis. From a historical perspective, please have no doubt that today there are only three parties in the world adept at socio-religious (re)engineering of the Muslim societies, two from the Old World and one from the Holy Land. Also, do not forget Hindutva's enhanced strategic military and intel partnership, including export of arms, ammunition and expat labour to their buddies since the start of their invasion of Gaza (already reported in the media). So:
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."
والله أعلمُ بالـصـواب

You aren't at a gathering of proper Pakistanis until you've been called a yahudi agent! Nothing but more baseless emotional rants.

A majority of so-called Muslims pose questions to show where in the Quran the "Namaz's" details are found. In actuality, they are challenging Allah and accusing Him of omitting certain information from the Quran.
People who follow anything besides the Book of Allah are committing Shirk.
We all know that many ahadeeth are fabricated. But, it doesn't mean to reject everything. We just need to be cautious. The ultimate and only authority is Quran but we can benefit from Ahadeeth in our daily lives and with deep explanations of Quran. Apart from this these Ahadeeth are not written to make it an authority but scholars have collected them and have worked on it from time to time as people write history and history is always debatable. The problem with those people who reject Ahadeeth completely end up with Parvezi and Ismaili kinda people and sometimes their explanations of some very easy and straightforward words of quran is annoying and stupid. For understanding quran it makes more logic to go with basic and established meanings. A guy sitting in Lisbon with no understanding of basic ulooms of Arabic comes up with the "hidden/mysterious" meaning of some words is horrible. I can speak fluent Arabic with many dialects and I didn't want to reject pervezi/Ismaili/qadyani or Sufis but when they try to explain or twist the words just to prove or to explain their other beliefs giving strange and new meanings to the Kalam is horrible. Stories and lectures like explaining some Qur'an verses with modern quantum theory or string theories are spicy but dangerous. If you exclude Ahadeeth completely you will face people like pervezi/Ismailis/Mohammed Sheikh etc.

Simple question. If you have a bucket of water or milk and just one drop of urine falls in it, is the water/milk still pure and will you still drink it?

Be really honest here have you read the complete Bukhari, all 9 juz?

At best on the their best day and being most favourable and generous too them, hadith is a vague account of early Islamic history as narrated in small anecdotal tidbits by 1000s of men. There is absolutely no deem or fiqh to be had in them. And in their usual self they are nothing but fairytales and some serious blasphemous material.

Very sadly, that is just lip service. Whether it is said out loud or not, or even intentionally not thought of as that, but today hadith has become superior to the Quran in traditional Islam. Look around you majority of your figh, usul, juriprudence, law is based on the hadith and not on the Quran. Many scholars view the Quran in the light of the hadith rather than the other way round.

I find such people annoying too but your own kind is doing the very same too. The thread starter here himself has made up that whenever the work Al Hikmah appears with Al Kitab it means hadith !!!!! Also is also doesn't hurt to ponder and question what you think you know from time to time. Ask yourself are you Muslim just because you were born into a Muslim household and whatever you are being taught as a Muslim is that really what its suppose to be? Allah says in the Quran not to just follow blindly your forefathers and to ponder and reflect on the Qurans verses. If you can satisfy yourself that all of that is what is suppose to be, then good for you and keep on doing what you are.

And what about Qaidianis, you are ok with them I assume, since they are also staunch believers in hadith and perform the same rituals just like you. In fact they have many hadith from your sahih which they have tried to prove their false prophet from.

This analogy of milk and urine is wrong. Let's do it this way. There are many historical events which are debatable, similarly there are many theories in science which are controversial. Even basic concepts like what is gravity is debatable but we don't throw everything in dustbin because of different schools of thoughts. Ahadeeth is not something you can ignore. It carries a history, it has been documented, refined, categorised. Qadianis are like Druze or Bahá'ís but with a little more islamic Sunni touch you can say. If I will say Ok, I am a Muslim and Sunni but I don't believe in Hajj or Salah or Saum etc. The problem with the so called Quranists or those who want to promote this Idea is that they don't follow the established way of Arabic language even for centuries and they are nonarabs claiming new and twisted meaning of the words in Quran. Come on we should leave the whole established way and follow what Mohammed Sheikh or Parvez or a sufi from turkey or an Ismaili hazer imam in Lisbon will teach the roohani meaning of the literal words in Quran? The irony is that lets say we follow Quranists and don't get any benefit from Ahadeeth, still they come up with their own tafseer. Which again can be right it wrong. You can try something. Find an Arab community that will agree to the meanings of quran how they interpret.
