Wassalam, thanks for your message. Bro, there are 2 things, perception and reality. The perception is, MQM is a criminal Mafia as you have said however the reality is different. As far as Pervez Musharraf's statement re Altaf Hussain is concern, did you know that Pervez Musharraf categorically denied that while Hamid Mir Jafer has been spreading this news for quite long who is the biggest enemy of not only Musharraf but Pakistan and Pakistan Army. Do you know that MQM was in Musharraf's Government from 2002-2007? and they are going to make an alliance once again? I have born and grown up in Karachi I know better who is real criminal mafia.
