ارشد خان چائے والے کا شناختی کارڈ اور پاسپورٹ بلاک، عدالت سے رجوع کر لیا

سوشل میڈیا پر اپنی چائے بناتے تصویر سے شہرت پانے والے ارشد خان المعروف چائے والا کے شناختی کارڈ اور پاسپورٹ بلاک کر دیے گئے ہیں۔ نادرا اور پاسپورٹ حکام کے مطابق ارشد خان اپنی پاکستانی شہریت کے ثبوت پیش نہیں کر سکے۔

حکام کا مؤقف ہے کہ ارشد خان سے 1978 سے پہلے کے رہائشی شواہد طلب کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ شناختی کارڈ اور پاسپورٹ بلاک ہونے کے بعد ارشد خان نے لاہور ہائی کورٹ راولپنڈی بنچ سے رجوع کر لیا ہے۔

ارشد خان نے اپنے وکیل عمر اعجاز گیلانی کے ذریعے عدالت میں درخواست دائر کی ہے، جس میں شناختی کارڈ اور پاسپورٹ کی بحالی کی استدعا کی گئی ہے۔ عدالت نے نادرا اور پاسپورٹ حکام کو ریکارڈ سمیت 17 اپریل کو طلب کر لیا ہے۔

یادرہے کہ ارشد خان، جنہیں عوام میں چائے والا کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے، اسلام آباد کے ایک مقامی بازار میں چائے بنانے کا کام کرتے تھے۔ 2016 میں ان کی ایک تصویر سوشل میڈیا پر وائرل ہوئی، جس میں وہ نیلی آنکھوں اور پرکشش شخصیت کے ساتھ چائے بناتے نظر آ رہے تھے۔ اس تصویر نے ارشد خان کو راتوں رات شہرت کی بلندیوں پر پہنچا دیا۔ بعد ازاں وہ ماڈلنگ اور شوبز کی دنیا میں بھی نظر آئے۔

اسلام آباد میں چائے والا کیفے کے نام سے اپنا کاروبار بھی شروع کیا۔ ارشد خان کا شمار پاکستان کے ان چند افراد میں ہوتا ہے جنہوں نے سوشل میڈیا سے شہرت حاصل کر کے اپنی زندگی بدل لی۔​

Dr. Sahab, imagine an Afghani who is born in Pakistan in 1980. He is 45 years old now. Has never been to Afghanistan. Maybe he himself or many of his relatives are married to Pakistan. He renews his Afghan refugees card after every five years. Pakistan govt gets millions of dollars from UNHCR for these refugees. He and his relatives receive remittance from their loved ones in Europe and US. He has been harassed by police since he was a kid( Majority of our Pakistanis don't know that many of afghanis after maghreb can't even go outside of their houses if they don't have money in their pocket for police). His kids are married and has a newly born grandkid. He is contributing to local economy by renting a house, paying fees for his kids and running a business. His whole family has never been to another country. All of a sudden you are deported in a humiliated way and calls you name. You are deported to a wartorn country where your kids can't even go to school. You don't have a space to rent. People consider you a Pakistani because of your dialect. All because a Fauji general is angry. This mohabbe watan general will settle in Australia or Europe but created millions enemies at border.

Yes brother, that is why my heart bleeds seeing this inhuman behavior with a fellow Muslim. These people who are born here are loyal to Pakistan and consider Pakistan as their home.
