It is not only SUPARCO many other state institutions and enterprises were or have generals as their heads.Even cricket board was under generals.I know India has a huge population and plenty of resources but Pakistan is the fifth largest country by population.The corrupt generals and political mafias have made this country a beggar.Nehru setup IITs in India which provide very good education.The standard is not less than any western university.Many graduates of IITs went to USA for PhDs and they are working big tech companies or academia.The generals keep overthrowing elected governments every a few years.There is no continuity or long term planning.
