"کیا آپ زندگی کے چیلنجز سے تھک چکے ہیں یا خود کو کھویا ہوا محسوس کر رہے ہیں؟ یہ ویڈیو آپ کو سکھائے گی کہ مشکل وقت میں بھی کیسے مقصد تلاش کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ اس ویڈیو میں آپ دیکھیں گے کہ ویٹر فرانکل کی مشہور کتاب Man's Search for Meaning

Lately, I've been very frustrated because the imam I trusted is talking with so much respect about all previous 'ulema' such as Gazali and even Jalaluddin al Rumi, who for example claims that his rubbish called "Mesnevi" is better than the Qur'an !!! Did you even know that? My favorite scholar says we should reject those parts of Rumi's writings, which by the way also contain disgusting pornographic passages, but claims that "Rumi is still one of our greatest assets". How can you call a mushrik one of the Ummah's greatest assets? Anyway, for this reason, I have decided to devote most of my time to the Qur'an and I refuse to believe anything anyone says from now on. I'm really fed up with everyone, I no longer have "favorite" Islamic scholars. They only lead you astray!

In Turkey, people get really mad when you dare criticize these people because they are almost regarded as prophets by a large section of the population. I can easily say that there are millions of mushriks in my country who think they are Muslims.
Hadith is full of porn, and if you want more disgusting porn, you should read Rumi's Masnavi. The sinful Rumi has gone to the extent of claiming that Allah appeared as a beautiful woman.

I respect you opinion but the above video has nothing to do with Jalaluddin Rumi.
Also we don't compare any books with Quran because there is no book comparable to the Quran.
By the way, the above video is based on one of the most famous motivational books ever written by Austrian psychiatrist Victor Frankl. Have you read Man's search for meaning. ? I am quite sure you would like the above video.

I posted it because you seem to be Rumi's admirer. I will watch the video later.

If you have a purpose in life and the will to live, you can overcome most of the challenges; Stephen Hawking is one example.

I am. I will also explain you sometimes, why Rumi has been blamed by the conservative Muslims and which part of Masnavi was blamed and compared to pornography. Rumi's quotes are also life changing. I can think of one right now - - -
It is not easy to be like a candle, because to give light, one has to burn first. Rumi.

In the poem "I am the One" Rumi shows his belief in Wahdatul Wujud

"I became the One
whose name everybody takes an oath to.

I became Jesus to the moon.
I rose up and passed through the sky
I am the drunk Moses.
God himself lives inside this patched cloak.

I am crazy, insane, drunk out of mind
I don't listen to advice and deserve to be locked up
"

hen he says at the end of this poem:

"When Muhammad sees me drunk, my face pale,
he kisses my eyes, then I prostrate before him.

I am today's Muhammad,
but not the Muhammad of the past
I am the phoenix of the time
"

THIS IS NOTHING SHORT OF HORRENDOUS KUFARI BY RUMI.

I will respond to your messages tomorrow. By the way Rumi was also a favorite of Allama Iqbal and recently Mufti Taqi Usmani also mentioned in a video his admiration for Rumi.

Rumi was a good philosopher, but a tad horny at times… like all high IQ people, his poetry / message were convoluted and not for simpleton.. that is why, stories were created… so simple people can get it (or not)

He may be a good philosopher, but his poetry tells a different story.

You don’t have to defend Rumi. You are not his chacha. Read his writings if they enrich you intellectually and spiritually and if there is anything that you think is inappropriate or beyond your understanding just leave that part. Also read other great works as it’s not an election where you just have to vote for one. Hafiz , Saadi, Jaami etc
