I am not a PTI supporter but I do not see anything wrong with Imran Khan's statement. He was on a campaign trail. It was his responsibility to show aggression and confidence. Watch the election campaigns of all the major politicians all over the world. Everyone makes a statement that they are going to win - just like sportsmen do before a major sporting event.

In fact, listen to the cricket captains before the start of any match....

It's called projecting confidence and motivating the troops...what do you think would be the morale of the workers if he says we may or may not win - given the fact that he was the dark horse of the race and not the front runner. He had to come from behind unlike the others who were favorites to win right from the start.

For the record, Nawaz Sharif lost twice during the 90's. Go read his statements before those elections. If you are too young to remember then let me refresh your memory. This is what he said before the 1988 elections which Benazir won
