How best Quran can be understood:
i) First of all approach to it with an "impartial attitude", leaving aside your already made or taught
concepts.
ii) Quran has got some special words like, "Momneen", Mushraykeen, Fasqeen, Kafreen, Muslims etc. etc. etc.
which are nouns. All subsequent verses deal in with "Pronouns" like, They, them, etc etc etc.
iii) So it is very important to understand for example what is the requirement for a person to be a Momin,
their fulfilment criteria, etc. Is it enough to say it by mouth and you are Momin or there is some hard work to do;
iv) Quran lays down strong stress upon "Good deeds", so what are those good deeds, etc.
v) what is the category of a verse in Question, its sequence, its subject, its time, to whom it is addressed,
is it "Muhakam" or "Mutashiba", is it "Perpetual Commandament" or "Past history", is it person(s)-specific
or general.
vi) What are the "inbetween proverbs" in a narration. More than often Quran narrates something on a subject,
in between (Proverbal commandaments come), the subject again is continued. So attention to that also.
vii) Persistence and patience, open heart and acceptance, is the key.
viii) Self-confidence and trust over Allah. That If someone did it or can do it, why I cannot;
ix) Dedication of time as much as one gives to other material or a fair percentage;
x) Last but not the least, Prayer to Allah that He may increase the Knowledge;
With the help of Allah, this Noor will automatically come to your heart and many your questions and
complexities will be solved. No more Firqas/sects/and past personality worshiping, life easy and betterment
in the Hereafter.
