What has happened with our sisters in Punjab is not an extraordinary event there. In KPK the psyche of people is different. Even a policeman who knows that the woman is front of him is the mother ,sister or wife of his son or father's murderer but he will never ever try to molest her. Such is the chivalry of Pathans. Never in the history of KPK barring DI Khan which has a sizeable Seraiki population has a woman been paraded naked in the streets. Rapes do occur all over the world but not publically. In Punjab women are vassals and until Punjabis learn to respect women other than their own family this trend will continue. Some wadera-minded land owners would boast in the near past of their tenants bringing the new bride for the landowners use on the first night. Some Punjabis living in foreign land will now shriek and create fuss over this post but calmly try anything wrong in this post.
