Dear
@sherryrehman
, — firstly, please accept my early Halloween wishes.

Secondly, in a truly democratic society, the right to protest remains fundamental, even during visits from foreign dignitaries. These rights do not take a break simply because an international summit is taking place. Please refrain from perpetuating the myth that they (fundamental rights) should. The real question is, why are the people of Pakistan protesting? Over the past 28 months, the military junta, of which you are a part, has trampled on the democratic and fundamental rights of the people. If you had allowed them to exercise their right to protest and had not isolated the leader of the majority, Imran Khan, perhaps there would be no protests on October 15. Now, protests are inevitable, regardless of what you and your masters think.
Additionally, allow me to remind you that you belong to the political parties that not very long ago threatened to sabotage the OIC summit in Pakistan while conspiring with the military to orchestrate a regime change ops.
