Apparantly milit establishment has given india free hand on the orders of USA. They will just make some noise and may also kill some of our Pakistanis under their custody and claim that india terrorists have been killed. But now we very well know the truth.

If anything that can be learned from the Israeli/Palestine conflict is that Nonstate militant organizations are more of a liability, and loose canon, that are not acceptable in today's international politics.
From leaked diplomatic cables, Israel wanted Hamas to take over Gaza because it has divided Palestine's leadership, which means they are not as strong diplomatically, which would have far better approach for Palestinians.
Pakistan must have a "professional" Army and we need to get rid of these hired
guns. But we should do it ourselves rather than any by any other country.
Because if we don't get our acts together economically, we might end up like Ukraine or Palestine.

if we want to develop as a country,
1-We need to resolve our border issue with dialogue. /the earlier we get LOC recognized as an international border with India, it will be in our interest because then India would not have an excuse to do Balakot-like attack.
2-Having a stable gov, better human rights, tolerance, liberal society where mullahs have no say a the running of gov are must for economic development.
3-Having stable gov in the neighbors is also important, but given the arrogance of India, we need to economically develop to be in a better position for dialogue with India.

3-پڑوسیوں میں مستحکم حکومت کا ہونا بھی ضروری ہے، لیکن بھارت کے تکبر کو دیکھتے ہوئے، ہمیں بھارت کے ساتھ بات چیت کے لیے بہتر پوزیشن میں رہنے کے لیے معاشی طور پر ترقی کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔

The current situation has developed over the 75 years, you can't change a system over night. Army Gen are part of the system. When you try to change the direction of a fast-moving bus without brakes, it will result in an accident. I am a PTI supporter but i do believe that IK's very rigid stance on many issues was not right.
I still think IK is a far better choice than Sharif's/Zardaris, but he needs to be more diplomatic, try to bring the military on board, and accept that things will take time to change.
One positive thing, out of all this negativity, at least we know, how the system has been managed in 75 years and what needs to change, but we also need to keep in mind that a "Professional Army" is a must for Pak stability. "
