The people of Pakistan know very well the cruel and brutal character of those they are dealing with.The brutal illegitimate government's intention to spill the blood of peaceful citizens has been clear from the outset, for which they are deliberately escalating tension and conflict.We reiterate that our party workers are entirely peaceful and unarmed. Violence is not our way, and we have never resorted to it. Despite the fascism and brutality of the illegitimate regime, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the general public have been entirely peaceful today, just as we have for the last two-and-a-half years.After two days of intense teargas shelling, bullets were fired at protesters immediately after Mohsin Naqvi made his threat, leading to around two dozen unarmed peaceful protesters being injured.The planners of the May 9th false-flag events, and the beasts who committed the Model Town massacre, are among those who openly threatened citizens who are protesting to demand restoration of their rights and the return of their stolen mandate.The world is aware of the ulterior motives of those who have pitched the police, and paramilitary Rangers and FC forces against unarmed citizens. The nation is well aware of who abducted Imran Khan on May 9th from within the High Court, instigated vandalism, and shot and killed nearly two dozen unarmed citizens.Had the people's mandate not been stolen and criminals not installed into power under the patronage of the powerful, and if the law and principles of justice had not been openly flouted, the people would not be compelled to take to the streets today. The mandate thieves, hiding behind hordes of police and paramilitary forces, are the ones responsible for the loss of any precious lives.The nation has not forgotten that Naqvi was the puppet caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab when Imran Khan was falsely accused (in a murder case) in order to protect government officials responsible for the martyrdom of the innocent Zill-e-Shah, who was brutally tortured and murdered.All government machinery, including police and paramilitary Rangers and FC, is paid for through public funds collected from the taxes people pay. Their duty is to protect the lives and property of the people of Pakistan, not shooting and torturing them. Peaceful protesters have no desire to engage violently with police or other security institutions. They only expect them to uphold the law instead of blindly obeying illegal orders of the illegitimate government.Instead of feeding the bloodlust of mandate thieves and bloodthirsty ministers, the nation will achieve the legitimate goals of their peaceful protests through patience, perseverance, and peace.If Mohsin Naqvi had an iota of dignity or shame, he would dismantle the heavily armed security apparatus and stop threatening and intimidating citizens. The millions of peaceful protesters pose no threat and will not resort to any violence. This nation, its resources and its properties belong to the people. Every political worker who comes out in response to Imran Khan's call will protect these national assets and will engage in constitutional and legal political activities, such as protests, while remaining completely peaceful.
