Pakistan is steeped in corruption and nepotism.An honest person can not survive in this god forsaken country.Many years ago I knew a Pakistani research scientist who got his PhD from a top UK university.He went back to Pakistan because he wanted to help his country.He got a job in a government research institute where hardly any research was carried out.He didn’t last more than three months.He didn’t want to twiddle his thumbs all day.He wanted to do research and publish research papers.He came back to UK.Another person I knew was a professor in Islamabad University(it’s name was changed to QAU later) he was expelled because he wanted to bring changes in the department.He studied in German.A UK university offered him a job.Moral of the story is do not go back to Pakistan.If you are well qualified then you will be able to get jobs in western countries.
