Government departments are not there to create jobs for sportsmen.Many departments are making huge losses.PIA,Steel Mill,Railways and others are under huge debt.The government has no interest nor any money for sports.Nadeem received no help from government.He did even have a international standard javelin.He had no gym or training facility and no diet plan.He won due to hard work and natural talent.You can hold sports festivals but you won’t find world class athletes.Nadeem is an anomaly.
If you think world class sportsmen can be found from sports festivals then go ahead and hold the festivals in every province on a regular basis.Nadeem is a one off case.You need a money,facilities and good coaches to consistently produce good sportsmen.
