Mangal Pandey is overexaggerated since as per other accounts he actually ruined rather than starting uprising of 1857.....they were already planning to revolt but violent reaction by Pandey after realizing that he had to chew cartridge made out of beef and pork tallow made British regiments aware of impending anger. But still these dialogues/scenes from the movie tell a lot about Colonial era and present day American Neocolonialism. I mean, look at even American Elections, you can't survive without backing by powerful corporations.
In Pakistan, we have extensions of the same Colonial authorities with façade of locals in uniform. And then there pseudo feminists and other liberals, religious clerics, artistes, YouTubers, brands and journalists etc...who are different arms of the same establishment
