Pakistan Exports to US is almost $6 billion. Now the new tariff rate is 29%. I have searched the previous rate can’t find it exactly. But surely Pakistan previously fell into concessionary (4-5%) duties category due to GSP status we enjoy. The increase will render our exports very costly to American consumers

Most of what pakistan exports to US is low value textiles.Other textile exporting nations like bangladesh,veitnam,sri lanka and thailand have got higher tariff than pakistan so it might not have a big effect.
