A 15-Point Challenge to Quran-Only Muslims

Can You Answer These Without Using Hadith, History, or Sahabah?

1. Who preserved the Qur’an after the death of the Prophet (PBUH)?

  • Using the Qur’an alone, can you name a single person who carried, memorized, or transmitted it?
2. Can you name anyone who had the Qur’an in their possession 1–5 years after the Prophet’s death?
  • No guessing. No historical references. Just from the Qur’an.
3. How do you know the Qur’an wasn’t tampered with after the Prophet (PBUH) passed away?
  • Saying “Allah preserved it” assumes that part of the Qur’an wasn’t forged. Circular reasoning. Can you prove preservation without external testimony?
4. Who compiled the Qur’an into a single mushaf?
  • Be honest: the Qur’an never mentions a book-form compilation process.
5. How was the Qur’an preserved before paper and printing?
  • Oral memorization, right? But who were the memorizers? How do you know they were accurate?
6. What method do you use to verify the Qur’an’s verses without any isnād (chain of transmission)?

7. Can you show — from the Qur’an alonehow many chapters it has?

  • Where is the table of contents?
8. Why do all Muslims recite the same Fatiha and end with Surah An-Nas?
  • Where in the Qur’an is the sequence of the surahs mandated?
9. How can you disprove the possibility that verses or surahs were removed?
  • The Qur’an accuses previous nations of this. Why should we assume the same didn’t happen here?
10. If enemies of the Prophet (PBUH) existed (which the Qur’an confirms), how do you know they didn’t tamper with the text after he died?
  • Where’s your proof, using Qur’an alone, that they didn’t alter anything?
11. Why would Allah protect the Qur’an but not give any names of those who preserved it?
  • Shouldn’t the Qur’an mention at least one person tasked with preserving it after the Prophet?
12. Do you accept the story of Abu Bakr ordering the compilation of the Qur’an?
  • If yes, you’re using historical Hadith data. If no, how do you explain the Qur’an’s existence?
13. Can you point to a single verse that says the Prophet’s only job was to “deliver” and not to “explain”?
  • See 16:44: “So that you [O Prophet] may explain to them what was revealed...”
14. If the Qur’an is so “clear,” why do Quranists disagree among themselves about how to pray, fast, or pay zakat?
  • Where in the Qur’an does it say how to do each of these?
15. If you reject all hadith and all historical sources... how do you even know you’re holding the original Qur’an?

Ah more chatGPT cut and paste, lets get into in then.
1. Who preserved the Qur’an after the death of the Prophet (PBUH)?
  • Using the Qur’an alone, can you name a single person who carried, memorized, or transmitted it?
Answered in my thread

2. Can you name anyone who had the Qur’an in their possession 1–5 years after the Prophet’s death?
Why do we need to know anyone's name?

3. How do you know the Qur’an wasn’t tampered with after the Prophet (PBUH) passed away?
Well as a Muslim you have faith and belief in Allah's book and everything that's in it when Allah says
75:17 We shall make sure of its safe collection and recitation.
As a believing Muslim that guarantee is enough for us.
4. Who compiled the Qur’an into a single mushaf?
Allah refers to the Quran as Al Kitab i.e The Book 261 times in the book meaning it was always meant to be in book form. No bits and pieces scattered about. The only reason you even believe it was not made into a Mushaf until the after the Prophet passed away was because of stories in the hadith. Once again the hadith insulting the prophet instigating the Messenger left the earth without doing so, he didn't complete his job for delivering to us the Al Kitaab. But you rather the Prophet be insulted rather than questions be raised on your precious hadith.

How was the Qur’an preserved before paper and printing?
Once again false beliefs because of the hadith and just lack of general knowledge to think text before the invention or arrival of paper was never written or there were no books. The Birmingham Manuscript clearly shows the Quran was available in book form during the Prophets lifetime give or take a few years.

6. What method do you use to verify the Qur’an’s verses without any isnād
Do you think Allah's book is dependent on your scholars defective methodology to prove its completeness and authenticity? As mentioned before for a believing Muslim it is Allah's guarantee is enough. Again another insult to the Quran to safeguard your precious hadith.

7. Can you show — from the Qur’an alonehow many chapters it has?
Just pick one up and count them all?

8. Why do all Muslims recite the same Fatiha and end with Surah An-Nas?
Because that's the way Allah wanted it to be and the messenger made sure of it.

9. How can you disprove the possibility that verses or surahs were removed?
Answered in my thread

AND

"Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an, and indeed, We will be its guardian." Qur'an 15:9

10. If enemies of the Prophet (PBUH) existed (which the Qur’an confirms), how do you know they didn’t tamper with the text after he died?
See the answer to 1 and 9

11. Why would Allah protect the Qur’an but not give any names of those who preserved it?
Better question is why would he give any names in the first place?

12. Do you accept the story of Abu Bakr ordering the compilation of the Qur’an?
No

14. If the Qur’an is so “clear,” why do Quranists disagree among themselves about how to pray, fast, or pay zakat?
If the hadith explain the Quran then how come every sect disagree among themselves on even the finest of details, like how and where to keep your hands during your ritual salats, to say ameen loudly or quietly, to raise the hands or not to raise the hands. Let alone any major issues.

15. If you reject all hadith and all historical sources... how do you even know you’re holding the original Qur’an?
See answers to 1,9 and 10.

This is exactly why I started this thread

That people in order to defend their hadith from criticism are willing to throw the Quran and the Prophet wholesale under the bus rather than accept the massive deficiencies in the hadith transmission.

Like this futile attempt. They say the believe and have faith in the Quran but cannot trust or believe on Allah when he says in that its a Kitaab and that he is responsible for its protection. They rather believe that the messenger of Allah left the Quran in bits and pieces and tatters spread across the land on tree bark and bones or goats ate pages of the Quran and they were lost forever that's why there are no verses about stoning and breast feeding adults 10 times in the Quran. Yes that is an actual hadith printed till today from one of the 6 major books of hadith Sunan Ibn Majah.

Can you imagine the Prophet doing that or the Quran will have such filth like breast feeding an adult 10 times to make him a mahram? But no according to you the Quran contained such filth but goats ate those "pages" so now we have an incomplete Quran today. So leveling such blasphemy against the Quran is perfectly ok to you, but don't you dare question my blasphemous hadith.

These questions are for the Quranists. Why don't you request the admin to delete the Quranists (i.e. Wake up Pak and Citizen X ) propaganda posts who has been bombarding this forum for quite some time now?

Citizen X , Try again. I am giving you one more chance. You failed to answer the questions appropriately.
No I didn't. I answered each and everyone of them perfectly. What I didn't do is give the answers you wanted to hear. This is how you people operate, you think you've outsmarted someone and lay a "trap" and when that trap utterly fails, you are very upset.

What you were hoping to see happen was me being totally bamboozled by your "gotcha" questions ( I have to admit, most of them were pretty dumb ) And then you would come along and do your victory lap.

For example : Can you name anyone etc etc . See now that in your head that is a perfect gotcha question because the Quran doesn't have any such names mentioned, but your scope of thought has been reduced a lot by your hadith indoctrination. You didn't factor in that names of people simply don't matter to us or have any importance. In fact it would be very suspect if it did have names in it. Outside of prophets and other historical characters. Only one Sahabi is mentioned by name in the Quran and that also relates to the Prophet's wife.

You want names, go read the book of chronicles from the bible, it has nothing but names.

LOL Why is the answer everything is to shut someone up and to sweep it under the carpet.

Shhhh Shhhh lets not talk about any issues it might create fitna!!!! The classic line of every moulvi and his shagrid

How bout you instead tell those Muslims with weak knowledge to strengthen their knowledge. Or here is an idea Since your knowledge is very strong why don't you create a few threads and share your knowledge so other's might get stronger.

Citizen X , you failed the challenge. And here’s why.

You were asked to answer 15 questions using only the Qur’anwithout resorting to Hadith, history, Sahabah, or external sources.

You ignored the core condition.
You didn’t — because you couldn’t. No Quranist ever can. Because your methodology depends on rejecting the very tools through which the Qur’an was taught, transmitted, compiled, practiced, and preserved.

That’s not “outsmarting.” That’s exposing.

You keep on forgetting, but let me remind you that Islam is not just a religion — it is a Deen: a complete way of life. The Qur’an didn’t come as a standalone philosophical book to be interpreted on YouTube. It was revealed to a living Messenger (PBUH), who was sent not just to deliver but to:

  • Explain
  • Teach
  • Judge
  • Lead
  • Embody
  • Preserve
“And We have revealed to you the Reminder so that you may explain to the people what has been sent down to them.” (Qur’an 16:44)

That explanation is the Sunnah. Its preservation is the Hadith.

Instead, you try to "rebuild" a 1,400-year-old global deen using:
  • Memes
  • Sarcasm
  • Selective verses
  • Personal rants
  • Internet superiority complex

…all while pretending you're the sole enlightened being among 1.9 billion blind Muslims.

Let’s be clear: this is not intellect. This is ego.

You call Hadith “filth.” You mock established Islamic history. You reduce the Prophet (PBUH) to a “delivery man.” And anyone who disagrees is labeled “programmed” or “indoctrinated.”

That’s not analysis. That’s narcissism masquerading as reform.

You say, “Use your aql and common sense.”

Of course. But aql doesn’t mean rejecting all guidance. In life, we learn from teachers, mentors, examples — from cradle to grave. You didn’t become a Quranist in the womb. You followed someone, somewhere, at some point — probably another online influencer. So quit claiming to be self-manifested enlightenment.

You say others “throw the Qur’an and Prophet under the bus to defend Hadith.”

No — I'm defending the way the Qur’an was lived, taught, preserved, and transmitted — by the Prophet (PBUH) himself.

You are the one discarding that Prophetic legacy in favor of personal tastes, modern impulses, and keyboard polemics.

This isn’t a debate.

Either answer the questions — using only the Qur’an, no lectures, no deflection —
Or admit: your entire methodology collapses under its own weight.

Walk the talk.
Or walk away.

You don't have to work so hard. Pervaizi hackel and jackels have no depth in their ideology. They can't even stand clarifying questions one step below their false claims.

Even though they're themselves hajis and umrah performers but unfortunately now they're the tools of shaytan.

All you have now is your emotional rants. Our scholars blah blah this Our tradition blah blah that.

But if you read the Quran, it tells you to tradition and your scholars don't mean anything and follow only the truth which Allah has revealed to you.

33:67 - And they will say , "Our LORD , indeed we obeyed our leaders and our elders , but they misled us from the way .
33:68 - "Our LORD , give them double of the punishment and curse them with a big curse ."

Who are your leaders and your elders when it comes to your religion? Your scholars and moulvis.

2.170 - And when they are told , "Follow what GOD has sent down ." They say , "Rather , we follow what we found our fathers upon ." What if their fathers did not understand anything , nor were they guided?

5.104 - And when they are told , "Come to what GOD has revealed and to the Messenger ," they say , "What we found our fathers upon is enough for us ." What if their fathers did not know anything, nor were they guided ?

And this is your tradition for you. But your eyes are covered by junk from your hadith that you cannot even understand clear verses from the Quran warning you.

Citizen X ,

Enough Smoke and Mirrors.

You can ridicule fonts, mock Hadith, misquote the Qur’an, and act like you're above everyone else — but you failed the challenge.

You were asked to answer 15 fundamental questions using only the Qur’an, without relying on Hadith, history, or the Sahabah — because that’s the very method you claim to follow.

Yet every time, you deflect.

Why?

Because you can’t answer them without depending on the very sources you mock.

You accuse others of following scholars blindly. But here’s the irony:

You’re following yourself blindly. You’ve set yourself up as your own scholar, mujtahid, mufassir, muhaddith, historian, and theologian — all rolled into one. A one-man ummah.

And when the Qur’an says:

“So that you may explain to the people what has been sent down to them” (16:44),

You pretend that "explaining" doesn't mean anything. That the Prophet's job was just to deliver, not to teach, model, interpret, or lead.

That’s not Qur’anic reflection. That’s Qur’anic selectivity.

And now you're using verses about blindly following ancestors (33:67, 2:170, 5:104) — as if that refutes 1400 years of preserved, peer-reviewed scholarship and the lived practice of the Prophet (PBUH) — while ignoring that you are following a modern internet ideology with zero isnād, zero ijmāʿ, and zero legitimacy in the ummah.

This isn't "Qur’an-only."
This is ego-only.

Your sarcasm doesn’t make you deep. Your mockery doesn’t make you right. And your memes and emojis won’t shield you from real accountability — before the Qur’an, before the Ummah, and before Allah.

Once again:

Answer the 15 questions.

No Hadith. No history. No Sahabah.

Only the Qur’an.

We both know you can’t — because Quranism collapses under its own weight.

So here’s your choice:

  • Answer the questions honestly using only the Qur’an — as your method demands.
    OR
  • Admit that you, like everyone else, rely on external sources — and your real issue isn’t Hadith, it’s accountability.
But of course, we already know:

You won’t admit.

Because your inability — and the irrationality of your entire framework — to answer the 15 questions without using Hadith, history, or Sahabah…
Or your mockery-laced, holier-than-thou, look-at-me-I-know-it-all-and-definitely-more-than-the-Sahabah-and-1.6 billions-Muslims-around-the-world-who-do-not-know-anything attitude…
Or your sarcastic dodges, deflections, and evasions
Is itself the admission.

You can’t answer.
So you perform instead.

And everyone watching sees it.

The time for games is over.

Maybe these people should stick to drawings, as they lack the ability, capability, or common sense to engage in a rational argument.

Wake up Pak ,

Perhaps some people resort to crayons because they’ve run out of arguments.

If all you can offer in response to 15 unanswered questions is a comparison to children's drawings, you’ve already admitted defeat.

Mockery isn’t a substitute for methodology.

And sarcasm won’t save you from the fact that you failed the challenge — because Quranism has no foundation without the very sources it rejects.

Answer the questions.

Or keep drawing in the margins while the adults discuss serious theology.

Oh, so that's why you do it! Thanks for outing yourself.

Rest of your post was once again nothing but emotional ranting again, our scholars blah blah our tradition blah blah.

I know you are upset and angry (warned you this would happen) because you didn't get the answers you wanted to get but since I stuck to all the conditions your ChatGPT cut and past included so those are done and dusted.

But since you are crying so much so I will take pity on you and give you break, here's the deal.

If you think my answers didn't stick to your conditions please point out which ones and how?
