This post is regarding an interview of Abdul Sattar Edhi, which was published in Daily Dawn on 21-03-2010. In which Abdul Sattar Edhi, said once he was tried to be used in politics. When he was approached by General Hamid Gul, Imran Khan and few others, mostly military and intelligence officials, who were conspiring to overthrow Benazir Bhuttos second government.

If an MQM supporter wants to do mud-slinging, leg-pulling.
So many articles against Imran are available.
So many videos are available. No need to give you reference.
I'm 100% sure, if that article was belong to MQM or Altaf.

(2) And keep in mind PTI has been established in 1996, in the last days of PPP govt. If we even accept ur argument and if A Sattar Edhi would agree to involve in overthrowing BB from Govt., what would PTI gain at that time? I don't think IK would have organised the party properly at that time. So it is out of context answer. A Sattar might have mentioned IK for some thing else and you or Journalist bracket IK with this Conspiracy against BB's Govt. ........This is completely out of logic.

1) The main part of the post consists of Abdul Sattar Edhi interview, that's why it was mentioned in the subject of the post. Video is verifying Abdul Sattar Edhi statement.
2) Not only then, PTI is not in a position to gain.
Even if they try to do the same thing now, PTI is not in a position to capitalize.

Benazir's 2nd Govt. was in 19 October 1993 - 5 November 1996

And Pakistan Tehreek Insaf was formed in April 25, 1996. It's impossible for [imran] Imran Khan to have such strong support in the early days, At that time he do not have the people support, like he do rite now. May be the support now is not huge but it still does exist.

When PTI was formed, people blamed Imran Khan for being the agent of Jews and I doubt a person like Gen. Hamid Gul would work with him then. In the beginning of PTI, IMRAN KHAN do not have any such political influence. He did not have political influence uptill now. So, I think Edhi has grown old, as he has not given the date of meeting, It's mere rubbish. :idea:

What can Shahbaz Sharif do if a Food Street is made in Karachi

It was governor of Punjab Khalid Ranjha who worked hard to develop those Food Streets in Lahore. For example in Old Anarkali Food street they stopped it for Traffic and made it clean and brought standards to it.

When Shehbaz Sharif became Chief Minister, the very first things that he done was to destroy these Food Streets as they are symbols of Musharraf Era. He opened the sewerages, traffic etc. and totally destroyed the food streets in old Anarkali.

There had already been a lot of protest against this action of Shehbaz Sharif among the Lahore People who don't see Food Street as Musharraf specific but it is Lahore Specific and a part of Lahore's culture.

Many People wrote against these actions of Shehbaz Sharif in Newspapers. You could google it.
