The participants in this conversation are providing some factually incorrect information. The fact is India did announce Rs 10 Lakh per deceased victim and Rs 50 thousand for injured back in Feb 2007. Also, that this matter has come to attention due to indian investigators. All participants of this tv conversation acknowledge that Swami Aseemanand was in jail before the confession came... yet they don't say why he was in jail. And it was not only him, there's Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, Lt. Col. Shrikant Purohit, Dayanand Pandey and 8 others who were arrested much before Aseemanand as part of a 4 year investigation that began in June 2007. I recommend readers read the following article to gain an indepth knowledge of this investigation.

In the end i like to add that India has been slow but they are now coming out of denial about hindu radical groups and are arresting and charging them. The same can not be said about Pakistan, where the plague of terrorism looms much larger and international in scope, but Pakistani people and gov't choose to remain in denial and hence not taking the actions required to bring this menace to an end even when their own allies and neighbours have been pleading them to do so.
