Let us be "content & satisfied" what is written in Quran:
a) Even our Prophet(pbuh) was told about some and not told about some Prophets before him;
b) Allah says in Quran that He sent Prophets/Rasools to every nation (Ummat);
c) The main Ummats have been mentioned in Quran as "qoom ul.......
d) Only Noah (as) age has been mentioned in Quran, no one else's
e) Quran comprehensively covers "what is sent to us and what was sent before us", the quantity is of not significance;
So being "content & satisfied" what is in Quran, makes life much easy and free from so many "IFS & BUTTS!!!!!!!!! unfortunately
there is lot of influence of "Israeliyaat" while the "tafsirs were written". So that is the problem.

Bhai is this the right forum to search for this TOPIC.. Have you searched in different Islamic Libraries..
The point is that the exact number of Prophets sent to us by ALLAH is not important, important is the message which is same from ADAM (AS) to MUHAMMAD (PBUH).
I am not forcing you to stop your thirst of knowledge but you should try first from other sources then come here to share your info, if some one challenge it, then you can argue & ask him about his point proofs.
