There is something needed to be said. The liberalism has different meaning in Pakistan. As per my understanding, if Islam is TRULY practiced, it could be as liberal as humanity could get. More simply, a true practitioner of Islam/True Muslim is a most liberal man. The sad thing is that the so 'called' liberals think that be free to use vulgar language, drink vine, remove cloths and criticize religions is liberty. It actually confines the human potential of achieving a healthy vibrant society if you seriously think about it. I think these so called liberals actually slaves of individual desires. My message to all is to stop calling these spiritually sick people 'liberals'. Liberty is something else, of much higher value than internal desires, but the freedom to speak against cruelty, practice human rights and think beyond our individual selves.
