Ban on media to criticize President, Army and Judiciary on

NA Committee recommends PEMRA bill for approval from National Assembly members prepared recommendations to implement code of conduct for media as they recommend ban on anchorpersons to criticize President, Army and Judiciary. They also recommended to prohibit live coverage of terrorism incidents, reported Dunya News on Thursday. The recommendations for amendment in Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Ordinance were made during the meeting of National Assemblys Standing Committee for Information and Broadcasting. According to the recommendations draft received by Dunya News, it is recommended to restrict bar coverage of terrorism incidents. No anchorperson, moderator or program host should criticize President, Army and Judiciary and he should not give any opinion that is against the national security, sovereignty and solidarity. The committee has approved these recommendations.

more importantly we need to focus more on the terror elements increasing in our country rather then this issue. Pakistan has to accept the fact that it is in a state of War. The media should understand that issues such as the success of Pakistan Army should be highlited more then such issues! The media needs to play a positive role in airing moderate elements to ease the feel of uncertainity in the country.

yes u r right.idher itany talk shows han .but for comman person issue only2/3 which i thing normal rating and viewrs.like 50 minutes.bolta pakistan.and some time live with talat.but see peopls dont like much .they have normal viewers.log os program ko he pusand karty han jis ma zyda jhoot .or tu tu ma ma hote ha.so u can not blame on any anchor persons.the last show of live with talat it think the best one .but see no body like to coments about it.when peopls will not appreciate these kinds of show .so how can u expect any anchor will discuses common persons issues.phily politics media ma nhai ghusi the.ab media ma be politics ghus gye ha.or jub politics ghus jiyte ha kise chez ma os ka bera guraq ho jiyta ha.
