Let's Analyse the situation. Election Commision of Pakistan was not satisfied with the party internal election . There were no party internal election for PTI for some time.
Election commission decided to give them time for the internal election. Since the general elections are approaching soon, the election common gave them 2 weeks' notice to have this internal election done and report back to ECP.
What PTI did was pull a fast one. Considering limited time given, with no time to apply the rules given in their party charter, they faked an internal election where the opposing members of the party (14 of them) were excluded from participating in the internal election. It was basically a hogwash.
The ECP refused to acknowledge those internal election and refused to allot party symbol to the candidates as per ECP regulation, excluding PTI from taking part in general elections.
PTI took legal avenue and the case end up in SC bench which decided that the actions of the ECP are within its domain and PTI as a party, unable to provide evidence to the contrary.
What do you guy think is illegal in his judgment?
