.

we all know Indians are worst terrorists after Israelis and the CIA.
But since they have become noor-e-nazar and laadla of the west, Americans have their eyes shut and ignore Indian terrorism.

India also blew up Air India jet from Canada en route to Tokyo and blamed it all on Sikh separatists in Vancouver, Canada. This terror was successful. Sikhs were maligned, disgraced in Canadian society, and freedom movement subsided. A great accomplishment for India in return for murders of over 200 innocent airborne passengers. And now worst thing is, Indian propaganda is helping Ottawa commemorate anniversary every year just to malign Sikhs even more

But one day the hatred they are building since the blast in 1985, will bust like a huge soap bubble and Sikhs will start asking for a separate homeland, Khalistan

I would like to offer my prayers for dead and injured. I would like to strongly condemn this inhuman act done by cowards and people who try to justify their ideoligy of violence and crime to further their goals. India is such a huge and diverse country, it is hard to prevent some retrads from commiting these horrendous acts. India has to impower local police and intelligence, must give them equipments and training. India needs total overhaul in its defence and intelligence beurocracy. It is not possible to completely secure India against these terrorists ( which are some of the time controlled and sponsored by Islamic republic of pakistan) but we can learn some of the things from Israel and USA.

Whole extended family of the terrorists (including males) should be forced to work as prostitutes in Mumbai for a month to compensete some of the damages caused, this surely will have a serious impact.

Why don't these terrorists attack ever kill any politician? I REALLY HOPE THAT SHARAD PAWAR OR THAKREY OR CONGRESSI THIEFS WOULD BE A TARGET OF SUCH ATTACK AND MAY BETHINGS WOULD IMPROVE!!!

Terrorists could be one of the following:
It could be anyone...

My doubts are on SIMI (Student Islamic Movement India)
ISI backed elements...
Some Hindu Right wing (They are not that innocent guys anymore)
Politicians..

Terrorism suspected after series of explosions kills 10 in Mumbai

hree almost simultaneous blasts rocked Indias financial capital of Mumbai during evening rush hour on Wednesday, killing at least 10 people, police said. Officials said more than 54 people had been wounded. The countrys Home Ministry called the explosions a terror attack, Indian media reported.
The blasts hit crowded parts of the coastal city around 7 p.m. local time. One occurred in the neighborhood of Dadar in central Mumbai while the other two were at the famed jewelry market Zaveri Bazaar and the busy business district of Opera House in south Mumbai.
India has remained jittery about the threat of militant strikes, especially since the Mumbai massacre in November, 2008, which killed 166 people and raised tensions with arch rival Pakistan.
Media outlets reported that the blasts coincided with the 24th birthday of Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the only surviving gunman from the three-day rampage.
Television footage showed dozens of police officials, several of them armed, at the sites of the explosion and at least one car with shattered windows could be seen.
We were inside our office when we heard a huge noise. Outside there was a lot of commotion, we can see fire trucks are here and they have taken away two or three bodies, Jasraj Jain, a witness, told CNN-IBN television.

Three blasts rock Mumbai, CM Chavan says 17 dead, 81 injured

MUMBAI: Three near-simultaneous explosions rocked Mumbai at rush-hour on Wednesday, killing at least 17 people in what the government said appeared to be another terrorist strike in the city hit by a major attack nearly three years ago.

Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said the latest attack killed 17 people, and home minister P Chidambaram said the toll was likely to rise.

Television footage showed dozens of police officials, several of them armed, at the sites of the explosion and at least one car with its windows shattered. A photograph showed victims of a blast at the Zaveri Bazaar crowding into the back of a cargo truck to be taken to a hospital.

Because of the close timing of the string of explosions, ``we infer that this was a coordinated attack by terrorists,'' home minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said.

One blast hit the crowded neighborhood of Dadar in central Mumbai. The others were at the Zaveri Bazaar, which is a famed jewelry market, and the busy business district of Opera House, both in southern Mumbai and several miles (kilometers) apart, police said.

All three blasts happened from 6:50pm. to 7pm., when all the neighborhoods would have been packed with office workers and commuters.

The 2008 attack killed 166 people and was blamed on Pakistan-based militant groups. Tensions escalated between the countries and peace talks were suspended. The talks recently resumed.

Soon after Wednesday's blasts were reported, Pakistan's government expressed distress on the loss of lives and injuries.

The blasts would mark the first major attack on Mumbai since the November 2008 violence, when 10 terrorists laid siege to the city for 60 hours, targeting two luxury hotels, a Jewish center and a busy train station. There was no immediate indication that Wednesday's blasts were part of a prolonged siege.

Mumbai has been on edge since then. In December, authorities deployed extra police on city streets after receiving intelligence that a Pakistan-based militant group was planning an attack over New Year's weekend. Police conducted house-to-house searches in some neighborhoods for four men who authorities believe entered the city to carry out a terrorist attack, and computer-aided photographs of the four suspects were released.

In March 2010, Mumbai police said they prevented a major terrorist strike after they arrested two Indian men, who, police said, were preparing to hit several targets in the city. Then in September, police issued a terror alert for the city during a popular Hindu festival.

This is a shameful act...Must be condemned...an inquiry should be done and the responsible must be punished.Whether its hindu or muslims.
But the same inquiry should be done for the 500 blasts in Pakistan last year, and more before that. The insurgency in Balochistan,Kashmir,Tribal areas. And the responsible must be punished.

Militant Groups Would Benefit if Pakistan is Blamed for Latest Mumbai Attacks

There's no reason yet to believe the latest Mumbai terror attacks bear the same signature as the 2008 massacre that left 164 people dead. Wednesday's multiple explosions appear from early reports to have involved small-scale and relatively crude bombs, even though they appear to have inflicted substantial casualties. That might point to some local perpetrator, although terror attacks in India almost inevitably raise suspicions of involvement by a Pakistani hand. And, of course, in the case of the Mumbai Massacre, the perpetrators turned out to have been the Pakistani outfit Lashkar e-Taiba (LeT), which was believed by U.S. intelligence to have longstanding links with Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
There's no evidence thus far pointing the finger at any Pakistan-based group -- and any such suspicions, as raised by India's Home Ministry in the wake of the bombings, may well prove unfounded. But the political impact of such a strike, were Pakistan to become the focus of suspicion, would play dangerously into the increasingly precarious U.S.-Pakistan relationship.
The Mumbai Massacre raised India-Pakistan tensions to boiling point, and the Bush Administration had to force Pakistan to crack down hard on LeT to deter India from taking direct action against the group on Pakistani soil, at risk of full-blown hostilities breaking out. (The crackdown on LeT proved to somewhat illusory and the group remains active in Pakistan.)
(SEE: Photos of the blasts that rocked India's financial capital.)
The immediate effect of the 2008 crisis was that Pakistan withdrew thousands of troops deployed against Taliban elements on the border with Afghanistan and moved them to the border with India. While the U.S. has tried in vain for a decade to get the Pakistani security establishment to prioritize the fight against jihadists over the strategic rivalry with India, the militants and their allies in the Pakistani security establishment seek to do the reverse: Stoke tensions with India, in order to keep the generals focused on what the Pakistani military has seen as its existential conflict.
U.S.-Pakistani tensions reached a new low this week with the announcement that the Obama Administration is withholding military aid designated for the Pakistani Army in order to pressure it to do Washington's bidding against jihadist groups in the tribal wilds along the western border, and against the Afghan Taliban which is headquartered on Pakistani soil. But just as Washington is putting the squeeze on Pakistan's generals to do more to help the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan, the Pakistani public -- and even much of the middle-ranking officer corps -- is pressing for a sharper break with the Americans, following the humiliation of the Abottabad raid that killed Osama bin Laden, and mounting anger over U.S. drone strikes and other covert operations on Pakistani soil. If the latest terror outrage in Mumbai is deemed by India to have originated in Pakistan, the result will be an escalation of tensions that would further distance the Pakistani military from the U.S. and its priorities. (Even before the latest Mumbai attack, Pakistan's Defense Minister warned that it might withdraw troops from the Afghan border zone in response to the funding cuts.) And widening the breach between the U.S. and the Pakistani military -- and ease the pressure on the ISI's longtime jihadist proxies -- would be a prized goal of the militants themselves, and of their allies within the Pakistani security establishment.
The motive, then, for LeT or any other Pakistan-based jihadist group to launch a new strike on Mumbai is plain to see. But that's hardly enough to pin the blame on Pakistan. In the proverbial "land of a million mutinies", there could be any number of "usual suspects" with the motive and means to carry out the latest round of bombings.
