That is why a group whos parents and in my case Grand parents came from India after 1947.
They were only pakistani >>>>> One identity was missing , but they were very happy with this.
After some time there were ethnic disputes came . In East Pakistan , Bengalis demanded more rights according to their population, they demanded their own Governor , their langauge etc etc....
In Balouchistan , Balouchi demanded almost a state without pakistan support.
We were still PAKISTANI , no demand....
In 1960-61 , capital changed from karachi to ISLAMABAD , we did not demand anything till now...
In 1971 , Bangladesh got their freedom.....We are still happy PAKISTANI....
IN 1973 , Z.A.BHUTTU separated sindh into sindh DEHI and sindh Shehri....
Reason he gave that he want that DEHI should get more development with this new QUOTA SYSTEMand with QUOTA SYSTEM both community will get some development.
If this QUOTA SYSTEM was so good , why did he apply only in SINDH.
After this "NA INSAFI " , actually Z.A.BHUTTU pushed us that we should think more than PAKISTANI.
But we were not too much involve in politics , we were divided , we were only a victim and nothing more.
In 1978 , when QUOTA SYSTEM was already 5 years old ...
Because of this 5 years old kid , huge number of MOHAJIRS did not get admission in COLLEGES and universities , even they had more numbers as compare to those who got admission...."NA INSAFI "
This time we were again a victim but with some political knowledge and political awareness.
This time we had a group of students who were ready to fight to get their admission rights.
This time we had Altaf Hussain and his friends , who decided to go to student politics to protect their rights.
11 JUNE 1978 , they based a student political party APMSO ( ALL PAKISTAN MUHAJIR STUDENTS ORGANIZATION)
Now they were not less than others they were equal ...
And only now they were Pakistani >>>> and MOHAJIRS...... WAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO A GREAT DAY ( THANK YOU MR.ALTAF HUSSAIN , you gave us IDENTITY on that day )

Ohhhh He is Ethnic , rasist , etc etc , and why......, yes ,because he founded a student party with ethnic name....
They were right this MOHAIR was and still showing a group ( Ethnic Group )
But there were already others student organizatios with ethnic name like ( PUNJABI STUDENT ORGANIZATION , PASHTOO STUDENTS FEDRATION , BALOUCH STUDENTS FEDRATION , etc etc...), But they were not Ethnic....again " NA INSAFI "

My personal experience....Why do I needed my IDENTITY...as MOHAJIRS ...Why do I respect Altaf Hussain so much , because he gave us IDENTITY....
Believe me we have been pushed for this we did not demand we did not need this , but now We Can't Live Without this identity that is
