Christians believe that Jesus is the son of GOD. They celebrate his birthday as Christmas. Which is prohibited for Muslims. But Christians also started a calendar since the birth of Jesus, Which Zakir Naik also uses. See the bottom of the computer there is a date 24 December 2018. It means it has been 2018 years since Christians started celebrating birth of Jesus as a son of God. Have you ever seen a Christian using our Prophet Muhammad PBUH Hijra, calendar in the west ? Why can't Zakir Naik stop using Christian calendar which reminds us Christians 'false relation of Jesus with God ? Isn't it blasphemy ? Wouldn't God ask us on the day of Judgement that Christians started a calendar by falsely associating Jesus as my son, and you Muslims followed the same calendar ?

I don't see any thing wrong wishing merry x-mass to fellow christians as a social courtesy and have nothing to do with their belief. What they believe is their religion and what I believe is my religion. Same way many christians wish me happy eid and also buy me presents....Ab ismein kia.

1. Christmas is a European Cultural thing not a strictly Christian thing. It has existed for thousands of years in Pagan European culture/religions (most notable Yule Festival & Dies Natalis Solis Invicti). 25th December is not birthday of Christ, no one knows when Christ was born or whether he was born at all.
2. 25th December is Winter Solstice. It is a significant time for many cultures in Europe/Syria/Iran for more than 5000 years.

I don't want to say any thing about Zakir Naik but whatever you are saying about christmas being a cultural thing makes it more than ok to offer our best wishes to whoever is celebrating.
azeezi amal sb, instead of these nonsense videos please share videos wherein scholars of your choice clearly explain proper way to understand the text of the quran properly. If you cannot and I know you cannot then start learning that and once you have then share it with others so that people could then learn the quran properly by themselves whereafter it is up to them to follow it faithfully or not. This is the real service to deen of islam islam which no mullaan or mullaan follower does and that is what is really needed done.
Almost all mullaans have instilled wrong concepts about deen of islam in minds of most of the people. This is why ummah is in the state that it is. Dr zakir naik is not a scholar of the quran but a preacher who has ideas of islam instilled by mullaans. Most of the mullaans are mere preachers who are hunting for emotionally disturbed soles who also lack in proper sense of judgement. No doubt dr sb is more logical than mullaans but his logic is not consistent and does not realise that.
Anyone who wishes to introduce islam to anyone muslim or nonmuslim must do so logically consistently in light of the quran and real world realities. It is time we muslims stopped following mullaans as if we are deaf, dumb and blind. It is time we helped each other raise our level of thinking by learning more and more things after all life is for learning.

We muslims claim to be true custodians of final message of God in form of the quran. The quran tells us to follow God sent message through all messengers on basis of the quran. This means we must help other people to know the truth. We cannot do so till we ourselves learn the proper way for understanding the message in the quran properly. It is time we start asking each other what is the proper way for understanding the message in the quran?
This is very first task for muslims to fulfil before they could help guide others to the truth revealed by God. Only by helping others how they can know the message in the quran properly we can persuade them to join us so that deen of islam may become established universally as the quran informs us about its permanent universal establishment in time to come.
Just as we need to get our islam back from terrorists so we need to get our messengers back from everyone who claims to follow any of them by letting them know what the actual messages of God were for them which have been lost in confusion by those people.

If we are so helpless that we have to follow a Christian calendar then what is wrong in passing on a greeting to a Christian for the start of the same calendar. ( which is Christmas ). Zakir Naik is telling us not to say merry Christmas but using Jesus birthday to do all the counting. Isn't it hypocrisy?
