Apart from this political issue few days ago indian channel were showing afridi with same guns & calling him Taliban so if you are american you are allow to keep guns & no worry but if you pakistani you are taliban or terrorist.
My point is keeping weapon for security is legal in pakistan if you have license so if someone taking picture with his weapon so it should not be that big issue.
personally i think nobody should allow to keep any weapons & we need to make it illegal so there will be less crimes.
