Munafiq Musharef is one of the gifts given by Dumbo Mr Nawaz Shrief in his second tenure as Prime minister who boasted more than two thirds majority. Munafiq Musharef was made COAS superseding five more senior generals after the resignation of Gen Jahigir Karamat under pressure from Mr Nawaz Sharief. Mr Nawaz Sharief wanted a docile COAS who would not be a threat to his absolute grip on power so he chose Munafiq Musharef much like Bhutto who chose Gen Zia over serveral more capable Generals. Now comes the second gift by Mr Nawaz Sharief for the people of Pakistan that is the approval of Kargil operation requested and presented by his new COAS Munafiq Musharef. Munafiq Musharef presented his so called fool proof plan and Mr Nawaz Sharif gave his blessings to carry out this operation while at the same time he was engaging Mr Vajpi in normalization of relationship in Lahore!!! Munafiq Musharef was an incompetent soldier and did not deserve to be the COAS he had no success in retaking of Siachin from India quoting wiki "After 1984, Pakistan launched several attempts to displace the Indian forces, but with little success. The most well known was in 1987, when an attempt was made by Pakistan to dislodge India from the area. The attack was masterminded by Pervez Musharraf (later President of Pakistan) heading a newly raised elite SSG commando unit raised with United States Special Operations Forces help in the area. A special garrison with eight thousand troops was built at Khapalu. The immediate aim was to capture Bilafond La but after bitter fighting that included hand to hand combat, the Pakistani attack was repulsed and the positions remained the same." So to cut the story short Mr Nawaz Sharif has time and again harmed Pakistan and he has no problem with the killing of Paksitani soldiers and citizens to remain in power he is Gadar e Watan of the highest order and Munafiq Musharef an undeserving COAS

PMLN SET TO FORM GOVT InshAllah- Pakistan Elections Scenario by Credit Suisse
Pakistan is heading for its most decisive elections in nearly four decades,with election campaigning now in full swing. With less than a week to go to polling, we preview the likely political scenarios that may emerge and their implications.
■ PML-N leading the pack. The PML-N appears to be leading in most opinion polls, and is likely to be form the next coalition government (55% probability). A late swing in favour of the PTI has a 30% probability in our view, while a return of the PPP with a lower mandate due to a split of right votes between PML-N and PTI cannot be completely ruled out.
■ Imran’s emerging as serious challenger. After lagging the PML-N in most polls, there has been a sizeable swing in favour of Imran lately. Interestingly,a strong Imran show could result in a hung Parliament, though it would still be long-term positive, as he would keep the pressure on the PML-N.
■ IMF deal post elections, PKR in for a tough ride. A new US$5-6 bn IMF programme to stabilise reserves is likely to be signed by the new government with an understanding already reached with the coalition government. The PKR, though, remains on course for 7-8% depreciation in
the next 3-6 months.
■ Market re-rating on the cards, hung Parliament is key risk. A clear PML-N or PTI victory could result in a market re-rating with a 15-20% rally over the next 3-6 months. In contrast, a hung Parliament or a return of the PPP remains a key risk. We like Engro, OGDC, Lucky, POL and Fatima, while Mansha group (MCB, DGKC and NML) should be major beneficiaries given their known differences with the PPP.

They should also mention that if PMLn forms Govt with coalation that means a cabinet of the size of 90+ ministers and we have seen what that can do to a GOVT as we seen last 5 yrs. Another corporate prediction who are all tax evaders and all cronies of PMLN
