Choreographed May 9 vs. People’s Mandate of February 8

Was May 9, a secret mission to execute synchronized movements for a covert purpose?

Looking at the outcome, one can conclude that it was executed to crush the most popular political party in the country, PTI. After the incident, PTI workers people were picked up and booked for terrorism charges. Interestingly, terrorism charges against those who gave statements against PTI were dropped like dead flies and they were let go. If they indeed were terrorists then why they were let go on a mere statement? Was the whole thing not a cynical plot to break PTI?

Those who refused to read the lines given by the army are still languishing in jails. Multiple cases were registered against them and threatened to be tried under the infamous Army Act.

There is no urgency on the court's part to decide if military courts can try civilians. The Generals, however, can torpedo civilian rule and can't be tried for their criminal acts.

The courts, under pressure or something else, didn’t stand up against the military trials nor provided any relief to those who were picked up in the name of May 9.

Shameless courts have time to crunch decades-old cases but looks the other way when it comes to what is going on in the country today.

For general elections, the courts never ensured a level plain field and for that some judges must be tried.

February 8 was the day when the nation gave its verdict against the May 9 cynical plot as well as the games that courts had been playing. That verdict is binding on any court of the land as well as on the Generals who disguise their games under the name of security threats and escape the wrath of the people.

Now that people have spoken, courts as well as Generals must listen otherwise when music stops they will not find a place to hide.
