Dedicated camera or phone

I was wondering if there was any advantage of a camera such as a DJI or a go pro over the camera built in the phone? I have iPhone 15 which has a pretty good camera and it is always in the pocket for any still / video so what is the fuss about these dedicated cameras. Are these just a marketing ploy to get people to buy something they don't need or is there something to it? Someone knowledgeable, please shed some light. Thanks !

Come on man. Everyone can afford such gadgets now. It cost about 1/5th of my income. I am sure you make much more than that.

these dedicated cameras are for specifically making specialized videos + the longer battery life.

For everyday random video making, iphone is enough

These are for people who are serious YouTubers, e.g. Mrbeast. Their income is in the millions. By the looks of DJI, it might have some kind of camera stabilizer. and go pro, by the looks of it, has built-in flash.

These are for people who use them, for work, you would not like to use your phone for that purpose because of the battery and lack of stabilizer when you are on the move.

One may not appreciate the quality of YouTube videos as compared to videos from old cameras unless you watch them one after the other because we are so used to watching HD videos.

If you looking for a video camera for deliveries, try temu, you should get one easily under
50 USD with different mounting kits.

Thanks for the detailed response but I am very saddened by your last sentence. Do you think I would be filming women having deliveries. This is very immoral but since you do not believe in God I do not expect you to have a calibrated moral compass.

No,, that was a general comment. not specifically for you,

Because i was going through my old photos, made from disposable camera (with film, if you remember) , the next photo was that i took from a Sony Cybershot camera, the amount of difference was unreal.

Looking at your above post, 1200 for a few hours,, that's some serious money for a few hours, my friend., Wake up Pak is right, the only delivery that i can think of is the one that involves babies, i can't see any other delivery paying that much money.

Then why would you want to make a video of it, even though i am a thesis, i wouldn't like to make a video of my favorite playground being destroyed, The earlier you get this out of your head, the better it is
