Does Quran Oppose Or Support Muslim & Nonmuslim Marriage?

Please make this discussion an interesting exchange of views for benefit of each other. I assume that people are already aware about interreligious marriages.

Please explain your views with reasons and support them with clear evidences from the quran either way.

I don't want to comment on the issues that are already decided in my religion Islam, and I don't want to malign my beliefs either. If you have any issue, please go on the proper forum where some Ulema (Islamic scholars) can satisfy your queries.
Here in this forum, no one will give you answers as this is not their field. Please do not use this forum to misguide common Muslims with your upside down questions. I repeat, go to a proper place.

i think u cant marry with chirstian and jews. quran says that you can not marry a musrka man or women, you can marry ahle kitab if they are not comiting shirk.but as you know they are mushrekeen,coz they are worshiping Hazrat Issa And Hazrat Maryam(may Allah's mercy on them),there is lecture of zakir nayek bout this on youtube.May Allah Guide us all.

the Ahla kitab (Bible & Zaboor) has been tampered & been revised many times a/c to their Saint's choice, so now how can we say this peoples are ahla Kitab, the book sent to the prophets r not in original version now

ٱلْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ ۖ وَطَعَامُ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ حِلٌّۭ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّۭ لَّهُمْ ۖ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَٰفِحِينَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِىٓ أَخْدَانٍۢ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُۥ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ {5:5**

To-day are allowed unto you all clean foods, and the meat of those vouchsafed the Book is allowable for you, and your meat is allowable for them as also are the wedded believing women and the wedded women of those vouchsafed the Book before you, when ye have given them their dowers, taking them in wedlock, neither fornicating, nor taking them is secret paramours. And who soever rejecteth the faith, his work will surely come to naught, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the losers.

آج تمہارے لیے سب پاکیزہ چیزیں حلال کر دی گئیں اور اہل کتاب کا کھانا بھی تم کو حلال ہے اور تمہارا کھانا ان کو حلال ہے اور پاک دامن مومن عورتیں اور پاک دامن اہل کتاب عورتیں بھی (حلال ہیں) جبکہ ان کا مہر دے دو۔ اور ان سے عفت قائم رکھنی مقصود ہو نہ کھلی بدکاری کرنی اور نہ چھپی دوستی کرنی اور جو شخص ایمان سے منکر ہوا اس کے عمل ضائع ہو گئے اور وہ آخرت میں نقصان پانے والوں میں ہوگا

And wed not infidel women until they believe; of a surety a believing bondwoman is better than an infidel Woman, albeit she please you. And wed not your women to infidel men until they believe; of a surety a believing bondman is better than an infidel, albeit the please you. These Call you unto the Fire, and Allah calleth you unto the Garden and unto forgiveness, by His leave; and He expoundeth His commandments unto mankind that haply they may be admonished.


اور (مومنو) مشرک عورتوں سے جب تک کہ ایمان نہ لائیں نکاح نہ کرنا۔ کیونکہ مشرک عورت خواہ تم کو کیسی ہی بھلی لگے اس سے مومن لونڈی بہتر ہے۔ اور (اسی طرح) مشرک مرد جب تک ایمان نہ لائیں مومن عورتوں کو ان کو زوجیت میں نہ دینا کیونکہ مشرک (مرد) سے خواہ وہ تم کو کیسا ہی بھلا لگے مومن غلام بہتر ہے۔ یہ (مشرک لوگوں کو) دوزخ کی طرف بلاتے ہیں۔ اور خدا اپنی مہربانی سے بہشت اور بخشش کی طرف بلاتا ہے۔ اور اپنے حکم لوگوں سے کھول کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے تاکہ نصیحت حاصل کریں


In the light of above Ayat and present situation where Muslims are dominated by non-Muslims, I beleive Muslims should not marry with non-muslims.

I have read only your last post. These can be your own views and personal views but not
Islamic views:

a) Islam does not permit marrying an Mushrika/Mushrik (Idolators), how much they are nice in every
respect;

Relationships between people are independent of their detailed personal beliefs

Therefore, your theory has no basis at all.

Herer one has to ask, why these women want to run away from their kafir or muslim poeple? It is because they are not happy with the opposit mindset people. In other words people who live for others their minset is very different from those who want to enslave others and abuse them. So a good kafir who loves helping others is not like a bad kafir who rather use and abuse others or even kill them to rob them of their things etc and the same is true about a good muslim who lives for others and the one who claims to be a muslim but looks for ways to use and abuse others just like a bad kafir.

This was or can be for peculiar and typical circumstances and not it is always the case now. Kafir is a Kafir good or bad. and no
marital relations can be established with them. "Dealing kindly and justly with them" is quite a different thing. Please do not mix it up
or be my guest if you have any doubt. I can give it to you from Quran.

Marrying a Mushrik is also logically wrong.

Marriage should be name of two person love each other for ever.

A Muslims believes that Islam is a true religion and there is a life after death where a person who commit Shirk in this world will not enter Janat
What type of love it will be??? that you believes that your Mushrik partner will be part of Hell???

Those books were already changed when QURAN was revealed to some extent but they still be called as an AHLE KITAB so i think we can also call them the with same name.

I cant understand we read quran and there are clear open orders from Allah,still how can we say and use this word"i think" mushreek is better then muslim if he is good human,how can he be a good human if he denies Allah or make partners with him.
when Allah says a muslim slave man or women is better then mushreek man and women to marry bcuz mushrik call you to hell fire,(shahruk khan is the clear example .we saw him bowing to idols with his kids and wife ,he has prepared hell fire for his generations if they dont repent).
keep this in mind Allah says that a mushreek has no share for his good deeds in Akherah no matter what good deeds he is doing,bcuz he has no eman(zero % eman) and if you multiply 1000000000000000000 with zero the answer is zero. may Allah show us the right path Ameen

Brother the bare minimum is that muslims are allowed to marry ahle e kitab, but if you really want to excel in Islam and want to be a momin and you want your future generations to follow the path prescribed by Rasool Allah (S.A.W) then marry a pious muslim woman, not just any ordinary muslim woman, this is the second extreme. But if sex is on your mind then marry anyone, you don't need fatwa from anyone. Just remember you are answerable to your deeds.

salam.......in islam there are some thing that are allowed only in certain situations but the things is, what is preferred ....we should follow that as is TALAK...which is alowed only in certain situation but the least liked or the most unliked act....similarly mmarriage is allowed with ahl-e-kitab....but i think takwa demands from us to marry with pious girls modest and good girls -practical muslims so that our new generation should b a good muslim.

If they were in original form hen there was no need for a new religion.
There books were tempered at the time when quran was revealed so its not something that happened after quran.
they were ahl e kitab then and are ahl e kitab now.

I dont object your words but i object this theme because you trying to be personal. Everything that is discussed here does not mean that the thread starter wants a fatwa from you or he has some personal matter.
