Famous religious scholar Dr. Amir Liaquat has expressed himself, while participating in current affairs talk show “Insight" on PTV News.
In the program Insight, they have discussed speech of President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari in United Nations General Assembly, in which Dr. Aamir Liaquat said; "American land was used in harbouring violence, and if freedom of expression exceeded to such extent that it crossed the lines of decency, we should define the boundaries of the said freedom.
Dr. Amir Liaquat have said; "Leaders of 50 countries are busy in resolving their own personal agenda. We are unable to make law to defend our Prophet PHUH, but also all the Messengers of Allah and Holy Books, while law for Holocaust is approved and accepted worldwide.
We have to think beyond personal vendetta, we are not one nations in terms of religious belief, the protest should have been recorded 15 days ago, just announcement of holiday was not enough at all, it should be celebrated, as day of solidarity of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallaho Ellahi Wa'Alehi Wassallam with its true spirit, and they should have also taken all the stake holders on board, which they never take, and notification was not issued.
I really appreciate protest of our President Mr. Asif Ali Zardari before the United Nation General Assembly in his speech, but it was quite too late.
Other nations of the world have already signed MOU's with Google to block the blasphemy stuff. Even India has blocked YouTube quite earlier and we have closed it way too late.
Arabs have different standards, and to them such are not of much importance, and Coptic Christian of Egypt have translated movie in to Arabic, they do not care about Palestine or Kashmir, they only take interest in passing resolutions and nothing more.
We have witnessed conspiracies of Christians and Jews in the past and will see them again, we should follow the teaching of our Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH and Islam, but yes social and economical boycott is very significant, and only Arab women stop using cosmetics, it will give a big blow to their economy.
Afghan refugees have already created many problems in Pakistan, and with due respect they have to go back now, as we are already facing immense difficulties, and can't bear anymore.
